Black Bird was reading Othello, the third act. You a cop, Mr. Black Bird looked up at him with an expression devoid of interest or curiosity.

She was the only kick-butt black female super heroine in the world who could fly and "make it rain" lol. I am African American female and I have always been an ubber nerd. I love science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, supernatural, action, adventure, angels flying around, even vampires at times!
But I've noticed there's a severe lack of African American female leads in this type of genre whether television, movies or books. This group isn't just for only African Americans or women, but people of all races who have read an awesome book where the lead was a minority black or otherwise and would like to share it with others. So whether you are a minority or just interested in seeing more diversity in this genre you can join the group! Kish Knight author of Geek - Bo Search for a book to add a reference.
