Lol Flag christinay on September 20, General Comment Tube Snake Boogie is about a style of dance made popular in the early to mid 70's. Tube snake is slang for surf board and when you re-position yourself on the board, you don't take your feet off the board, you kinda slide them.
You pivot one foot on the toes and the other on the heel, then switch toe and heel. This dance was used by both guys and gals and lent itself well to the boogie beat of Z. It was very popular in Texas, duh, back then. At least that's what the girls, there in Texas, called it, and that was years before they wrote the song.
