FF through getting to know the supporting characters literally. It felt completely rushed. If you want to classify this under Erotica then it maybe holds up better because the sex scenes were the parts the author got much more detailed and thorough. As a romance story, falls significantly short. It didn't really hold my interested since the story kept talking about another couple. I know the other couple will have their own story, but I felt that part of their story infringed on Seth's and Leah's story.

First let me say whether this is your genre or not, I applaud Ms. Wick because she is one of the few author who has given curvy girls a voice. Most of the books on the market promote the singular idea that beautiful, sexy woman are thin and petite. Not so in "Wolf Curves" and I for one say, "It's about time!

Then when she looks into his eyes she has to call upon all the willpower she can muster to ignore the sexual tension radiating from her body. When Seth smells the incredible scent radiating from Leah he is sure of one thing, she is his mate and he must have her in his bed. However, his friend, Dana is wise enough to realize that Leah is frightened and until he can calm Seth downhe will not be able to figure out what is going on between the two of them.

So, after Leah faints and they manage to get her into her apartment, he calls Esme, the with in their pack to assist them. This is a really quick read with about one third of the book involving sex. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining too much I just wish the author had taken more time for world building and characterizations. I enjoyed this story especially when the female lead is a curvy girl. However, I doubt that I would want to read book after book with so much sex and insufficient substance.

A BBW romance that started out with promise but kinda ended lacking. Leah Howard is BBW living a normal life, on her own in a small apartment. She's had no experience with "others" except for her dreams where she fantasizes about being bitten and shifters. Enter pack alpha Seth and his second Dana on the elevator and you ave an explosion of heat Seth looses control and can't understand why the mating call has been triggered by a human. He wants a spell cast that will protect his clan and allo A BBW romance that started out with promise but kinda ended lacking.

I felt more connection to the secondary characters than I did the main characters. Leah triggers Seth mating call, and other than her being a latent this was explained. Things just happen without much understanding of what is going on. Trying to kill off the wolf line. Just felt too rushed for me. Would have liked more of a story to go with this.

The first couple pages of their first encounter was different and completely enticing, yet as the storyline progressed the "completely enticing" vanished and "different" was replaced with cliche. I've read many werewolf, romance novels and this was not the best.

It had great potential, but it failed for me. I'm still unsure about the name "Dana" and his relationship with Em. The ending scene was a little too weird to be consider sexy. Kind of a turn-off. Yes, it is adult and has some pretty descriptive scenes and I know that that is enough for many of you to run out and buy it, but what makes this book special is that it is so much more than that. I love the back story Christa has written. The world is familiar enough for me to be right at home, but different enough for me me to be on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next.

I am I love shifters and when a friend recommended this book, I went right out and bought it. I am excited to see where this story is going.
