However, that doesn't stop Splat the Cat. Determined to play in the snow, Splat tries to make some himself. He tries to mix ice and feathers together and uses a fan to blow this mixture.

This doesn't work, but that doesn't stop Splat.

I liked the vivid and expressive illustrations throughout the text. This book would be great for children who are beginning readers. There are many rhymes throughout this book that would not only help make it easy for students to read, but also makes this book a great choice for teachers who need literary examples of rhyming.

The pictures are very vivid, and the words are easy to read. This is a good book for 1st or second graders.     It's a wintery rhyming tale sure to charm little hearts.
