Jun 14, Ceejay rated it really liked it. This very enjoyable manga about Ai Shimoi, a reluctant psychic, continues in volume two. In the first part of this volume the students of the Psychic Academy are divided into groups. Whichever group finds a year old holy tree first, wins. In the second part, Ai agrees to help Mew and Sahra at the girl's dorm as they study math. He finds himself torn between Mew and Sahra. Not only that but Ai and company are attacked again by the evil A-class students. And finally, in part three, This very enjoyable manga about Ai Shimoi, a reluctant psychic, continues in volume two.

And finally, in part three, an extremely strange girl shows up on campus. She asks for Ai's frirndship. And then the suspended leader of the A-class villains returns and challenges Ai to a fight! Erik Hart and Vanessa Valerie Giedosh. This manga isn't as good as the first one, but I think there is definite build up that will make the third one awesome. This one felt a bit less exciting than the last, but I believe that is just because we're being introduced to a few new characters that will be crucial to the story. I bet Katsu Aki was excited to do this one because it seems like he put a lot of work into his characters.

As soon as I have a bit of spare money, I'm buying more of these. It was right up my alley. I love anything psychic or psychic characters in a story and this one had it in spades. An original thrilling suspenseful action story that kept me engaged until the very end. I read both books back to back and couldn't get enough.

A satisfying series that left me wondering if there would be a third book in the series and when it would be released. I would definitely read it probably in one sitting.

I love this series and would recommend it to anyone interested in an original take on psychics and their potential usefulness in the fight of good vs evil. Please Bob, can I have more? A real good read -- went too fast and has me wanting more! Premise seems to me to be all too possible in the near future, thus making it something to be aware and maybe concerned about. I looked and looked for a sequel , but can't find one.

I've read a lot of Bob Mayer books, and I think this and the Psychic Warrior books are better than great. I have read several of his books loved some, didn't like others. This one I was prepared to not like, but it turned out to be one of his best.

The characters are well developed, interesting and enticing. When I got to the end I really hoped that there would be an Ad for the sequel!! First book I've read by this author.
