Mademoiselle Fifi (Classiques t. 583) (French Edition)
Other published works and all unpublished works are excluded from this notice. The request for the removal of any copyright deposit should be signed by the person entitled thereto or his duly authorized agent. Such request should identify the work by stating the title, author, copyright proprie- tor, registration number and year of deposit, and should be addressed to the Copyright Office, Library of Congress, Washington 25, D.
Price for this part: Section provides in part: The record of each copyright registration listed in the Catalog includes a description of the work copyrighted and data relating to the copyright claim the name of the copyright claimant, as given in the application for registration, the copyright date, the copyright registration number, etc. In the case of each registration listed, except for renewals, the deposit of a copy or copies of the work has been made in accordance with the provi- sions contained in sections 12, 13, or of said Title 17, or, in the case of published three-dimen- sional works of art, there has been compliance with section 13 of said Title 17, which provides for the deposit of identifying reproductions in lieu of the work itself.
Foreign works, two copies of which were deposited with a catalog card and application for registration under the waiver-of-fee provision in section of Title 17 of the United States Code, are indicated by a zero immediately following the alphabetical symbol in the registration number.
For a more complete description of the contents of this issue of the Catalog see p. Orders, payable in advance, for all parts of the Catalog of Copyright Entries should be sent directly to the Register of Copyrights, Library of Congress, Washington 25, D. Orders may be placed for individual issues, as subscriptions for one or more parts, or for the complete Catalog, and for periods of one or more years. All orders should state clearly the title and the inclusive dates of the part wanted. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Register of Copyrights.
The Copyright Office welcomes inquiries, sugges- tions and comments on the content and organization of the Catalog. Table of Organization Each part listed in the table records all current registrations in the class or classes indicated by the alphabetical symbols given. In each case the first letter of the symbol is that of the class under which registration is made; the second, if any, is a designa- tion added by the Copyright Office for the purposes of statistical analysis.
A zero immediately following the symbol e. The symbol R does not represent a class designated by the copyright law, but has been adopted by the Copyright Office to distinguish renewal copyright registrations. These are recorded in a separate section of those parts of the Catalog which cover the classes in which the works were originally registered. Some parts also contain registrations made under other symbols if the subject matter or type of material is similar to that generally included in the part.
The motion pictures registered include feature pictures, cartoons, news- reels, industrial films, classroom films, television films, etc. Many of the recording scripts made to accompany filmstrips are registered in Classes C and D and are listed in Parts of the Catalog of Copyright Entries. Arrangement is by title. Each work is described in a main entry which includes information pertinent to the copyright claim. References lead from other titles associated with the films. Films for which the subsisting copyright has been renewed are listed separately in the Renewal Registrations section.
The Name Index to the names of claimants, producing and releasing companies, sponsors, au- thors, etc. Reference is made from each name to the titles under which the main entries are to be found. For works currently registered each main entry includes the following items if available and ap- plicable: For published works, whenever it is necessary to indicate a variation between the information given in the application and in the copy of the work with respect to the claimant's name or date of publication, the data from the application are given first followed by the phrase "in notice 11 and the data given in the work; e.
Works deposited in connection with copyright registration may be selected for inclusion in the collections of the Library of Congress. Library of Congress printed cards are available for many of the published works so selected. For renewal registrations, the main entry includes the following items of information if available and applicable: PWH " indicates that renewal of copyright is claimed by John Doe 6s? Classes L and M These figures represent the number of registrations for motion pictures for January-June , but do not necessarily represent the exact number of entries in this issue of the Catalog of Copyright Entries.
Registration figures for other classes of material may be found in the respective parts. References from variant titles and from distinctive subtitles are interfiled. London Inde- pendent Producers.
