Feb 21, Elizabeth Gonzalez rated it it was amazing. The storyline about the book is based on how children can be affected by their surroundings and can cause children to feel new emotions that they never dealt with before. I like the way the author explains the reason the worry feeling happens by trying new things or by being around to many people. I think younger children can relate to this worry feeling. By reading the book to them they can learn to understand what the worry feeling is by showing them the face expressions the little mouse is doing and by also reading to them how the feeling feels.

I would emphasize how every time the worry feelings happens the little mouse is not alone and there are people to help or activities to do to make sure the worry feeling goes away. Oct 07, Juli19 rated it it was amazing.

Dec 21, Ken rated it liked it. I loved the art style in this book and the choice of guinea pigs for the main characters, which shifts the focus away from body type or other identification issues a young reader may have. But I did have two concerns with the book. First, it advises that, when you're feeling worried, you do things to make yourself feel better: These tactics all seem diversionary and don't address the concern that prompted the worry in the first place.

I would think a I loved the art style in this book and the choice of guinea pigs for the main characters, which shifts the focus away from body type or other identification issues a young reader may have. I would think a child might appreciate being offered some reassurance. Second, the first time we see the main character's father, he's yelling at her. An earlier, more benevolent appearance might've presented a more balanced portrayal of family gender roles.
