What I don't like about the book are the noises the author decided to use associated with the vehicles. Instead of the obvious "choo-choo" or even "toot toot" for trains, the author chose "chug chug. Also, the hole cutouts are so This is part of the Hole Stories Series, where each page has a cut out that shows something new in the story or song. Anyway it goes, I'll continue to use it for preschool storytimes and sing along. Any child will love a book with holes. Any parent will not because said child will continually stick chubby fingers in the hole making it a impossible to turn the pages or b rip the holes. This book pretty much follows the song with lots of pictures and vehicle sounds. It's pretty busy to look at.
One of the four boys really loved it, the others could take it or leave it. If you have a vehicle lover you should try this one. Otherwise you could live without the frustration. This title is available in multiple formats. I only buy the one that comes with the CD. One complete song and one with just the music.

Other than that it's just what you would expect. To continue the train themed activity, you can play these lovely classic train songs; Puffin Billy and Chattanooga Choo Choo and actually pretend to be the trains.
If you have a few children you can get them to link up behind each over, conga style. Choose two people to be a bridge and the others can go through it.
