After having 'monkey sex' why do you refer to it this way the whole book???? Of course the daddy-to-be denies that it's his, but he's been burned in the past so he has his reasons to distrust. Tess, not needing help from anyone, decides that she's going to raise this baby on her own.

But overall, straight romance book just aren't for me I don't think. Because of how short this was, everything was super condensed. And even though their feelings evolved over some time, it all seemed extremely rushed and instantaneous. Also, it was hard to get the feel for actual chemistry between the two since it went from 'we are strictly sex' to 'oh my god, I love him'. It was a cute story and I'm a sucker for watching men deal with pregnancy. And it only took me about an hour and a half to read lol. View all 3 comments.
Dec 23, Jenny rated it liked it. A Heidi Rice book is always well written and the hero is always sexy and likable so I enjoyed this one as well. But I didn't feel an emotional connection with the characters and I didn't feel like these two were deeply in love. Still it was sweet and one fun read! Sep 30, Dalia rated it really liked it.

What with the flirty writing, the witty banter, the lovable characters and the scorching attraction. Fireworks fly whenever The sexy H and the feisty h are in the same room. Either arguing or tearing each other clothes off. But both have emotional baggage that make the development of their relationship from lust to love a little rocky. The accidental pregnancy is a well used trope but Heidi Rice's talent turns it into an original and 4. Jan 08, Paula Legate rated it it was amazing Shelves: Wow this was a wonderfully written romance. Nate and Tess helped each other through their insecurities. Both had painful past and grew up feeling unloved, so they guarded their feelings protecting their hearts until love won out! There were times my I had tears in my eyes as I read the pages. You only Wow this was a wonderfully written romance. You only have to be willing to come on the journey with me. I thought this story was a fabulous light read.
Tess and Nate are excellent characters. It is quite true-to-life with one unplanned pregnancy from a one night stand and the events that follow. Once I picked this book up I couldn't put it down as it really does make a great romance story and I would recommend it to fans of the Romance genre everywhere! Dec 17, KarenF rated it liked it Shelves: I wasn't sure about this one at first and I liked the second half a lot more than the first. I wasn't crazy about Tess in the beginning. I wasn't sure what she expected from Nate. I think showing up weeks after a one night stand, saying your pregnant and it's his and expecting the guy to not be suspicious or disbelieving is a bit much. I think she was unfair to him after he wrapped his head around it and decided he wanted to be involved as well. One thing I really liked about the second half and I wasn't sure about this one at first and I liked the second half a lot more than the first.
One thing I really liked about the second half and the end was that both characters admitted their mistakes but also admitted they would "try" to avoid them again. Falling in love doesn't turn you into some sort of saint and I liked that Tess admitted she overreacts and Nate that he runs away when things get too emotional. I liked that they both said they'd try not to act in those ways but probably still would sometimes. It was a more realistic ending for me than other romances where suddenly everyone's personality flaws are cured by wuv. I'll be on the lookout for Zane's story and want to go back and read the previous books in this series as well.
Oct 25, Sara HarlequinJunkie rated it it was amazing. Was oh-So truly satisfying! One Night, So Pregnan Reviewed at: Is a must read….. The dialogues are feisty, the characters perfectly drawn out and the sex scenes worthy of 5 alarm blazes. Firstly, thank you Heidi for running the competition as I was lucky enough to win a copy of this book. I enjoyed reading Nate and Tess's story. Both characters were likeable and made me want them to be together. I'm looking forward to reading about Zane and will go back and look for Eve's book. Aug 24, Desere rated it it was amazing.
