I loved the way these two damaged people, Tamara and Josh, were brought together for what was supposed to be one night of guilt-free pleasure and ended up finding the acceptance they were both looking for.

The characters were well-rounded with all the little faults and foibles of people we all know. By the time they met, I was already rooting for them to find each other.

The love scenes were very hot. T Hot, sexy, and fun! They were also poignant, fun and funny. It was a quick read and I was sorry to reach the last page. I would love to know what happened between these two after the sun came up. So is it a mistake Madam Evangeline sent Tamara to his hotel room? Goodness, I loved this story so much. It doesn't have Jessica's usual sci-fi flare, but it doesn't make this any less exciting. Our leads are almost combustible together. They both have there share of scars and don't feel right in their own skin. When they find out they both have things to hide, it brings them closer together quicker. I won't lie, I cried a little because I thought it was just beautiful.

They accept each other and they don't treat the other like a freak or a monster. This was so beautifully written. And as I said, not sci-fi, but I loved the final scene when they went to Josh's favorite. You definitely see and feel the magic. This was only 28 pages long, but it was touching and profound. I am a fan of the 1 Night stand books, having read a few others I was eager to read this one. Beneath the Starry Sky was a short sexy read, filled with a story storyline that will pull at your heart strings and make you wander.

They say Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder and what better plot to reflect this quote. Josh Summers and Tamara Johnson are set up by Madame E - both withdrawn into themselves believing that no - one can love them. Both having being scared in different ways, they are both I am a fan of the 1 Night stand books, having read a few others I was eager to read this one. Both having being scared in different ways, they are both given one night to just experience loving and having someone to fill that void.

But what Josh and Tamara both discover is underneath there hurt and suffereing is alot of love to give. Beneath The Starry Sky is a wonderful heartfelt story of love, and moving on. Be whom you truly are. Beauty is more than skin deep and after a night of hot passion and lust , Josh wanders if Tarmara is that ray of sunshine he has been waiting for. When he is with her he can forget the pain and just feel. Tamara also feels the same. Jessica has put forth the emotions well in this story. A storyline that has not only a meaning behind it but also hope for a happily ever after.

The characters were wonderfully crafted and well put forth. Id like to have seen more ya know - all us romantics at heart always want more - but being only a short erotic read.
