I had a absolutely horrible experience at this place of employment along with others who left as well.
There was no team work, everyone would just complain and talk about each other. Very slow paced and often had lots of standing time. Just like home was a very easy job, but you spent the day cleaning and were not working with the children. The manager was not around much and when she was she was often sitting on the phone and not interacting with the children or staff. This was a small family owned childcare center.
It was very laid back and the managers and coworkers were great to work with. This was a great job to have during college. Fun and easy going workplace. A typical day at work consists of creating a safe and fun environment for children and planning age appropriate learning activities. Management could use a lot of work in communication with each other and the staff. Employees get along with minor issues and its a fairly easy going and fun environment to work in. The best part about the job is getting to watch the kids grow and learn.
Money matters more than children. Poor pay, no insurance offered, no holiday pay for one year.

No discount on childcare for employees with infants. Owner fires at will and impulsively. On two occasions she fired and then later claimed the employee quit. We strive to create an atmosphere specific to the needs and interests of each individual so that each experience will be "Just Like Home". We will have a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse on-site at all times to monitor medical needs and oversee medication management. Our dedicated Food Preparation Specialist will assist with making meals, while monitoring diet and allergy demands. Nursing Assessment - Upon registration, every individual will receive a personalized Nurse Assessment which allows us to target multiple levels of care.
Many independent adults may only require minimal help and moderate supervision. Other adult care needs may be very specific, requiring regular assistance with personal care, everyday tasks and constant supervision.
