But if the analyses "will be able to be used" as opposed to being usable, they are still hypothetical. If you edit it to read "The analyses will facilitate I see nothing necessarily wrong with "help facilitate"—somewhat pleonastic though it may well be. Sure some of the jumps before the subjects, and the main text can be sharp, but it all makes for a rather interesting read that will drag you in. The coming of age tale that forms the basis for the book, has more to offer than a lot in the genre, as Sion, deals with the death of his Grandfather at age 14, who then reveals a mystery about his birth, while diving Sion headlong into the ancient world via the papers he leaves behind. From that point on, we follow Sion as he travels through school, and a somewhat unusual personal life, that becomes entwined with the tales of the ancient world he is learning about. Along the way we meet numerous people who go on to influence Sion's life and either help, or hinder the development of his thoughts.
Some people may disagree with some of the conclusions Sion reaches, but none could say they aren't well argued, and appeared to be founded on facts, even if those are often very little known facts, that have been glossed over for political, religious, or other reasons.

There are numerous descriptions of ancient artwork, statues, and similar items, but thankfully Sion always manages to stay away from sounding like a guidebook unlike some thriller writers - yes you Mr. Brown - and helpfully included reproductions of most of the things he'd discussing at the start of the relevant chapter.
