I'will not change anymore. Daniele and Roberta are friendly and ready to solve any issue. The meal is fantastic. Home made cakes for breakfest. I had full board accommodation what was a good decision because Their attention to detail and customer service is second to none.

Italian Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe - Laura Vitale - Laura in the Kitchen Episode 757

A fantastic Italian folk record from this great artist. The gatefold cover is in VG condition with the slightest wear, as pictured. Don't pass this one up! Liner Notes —Roberto Murolo. Photography By —Ars Photo. Still very shiny, album has light signs of wear: Record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. More than normal wear and tear. A4 A Canzone E Napule. The vinyl is in VG condition with a few light marks and wear and only the slightest hint of unobtrusive surface noise.

Two fantastic Italian folk records from this great group! The cover for VOL. Cover is vg , and disc looks full EX. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. My wife had the homemade ravioli and I had a braised lamb shank with polenta. We both agreed that these dishes were the best we have tasted other than my wife's home cooking in a long time. Nice restaurant in a strip-mall setting. There is out-door seating, which I opted for, although most of the outdoor seating is just a sidewalk away from the parking lot. There was a jazz duo playing in the dining room--sounded nice.

The food was decent, but not great. Salad as the first course was just the usual--very ordinary. I had pasta with wild boar ragu. The flavors weren't fully developed in the ragu no hints of herbs or other spice and the pasta was dried pasta not fresh , cooked in the usual way. All in all, an acceptable dinner, but nothing to write home about. Loved this new place in Redmond. The menu was amazing All of us had something different, and each dish was excellent Can't wait to go back and try something else! Was there for our 47th Wedding Anniversary and our first visit.

Was disappointed at first by the noise level and the somewhat snug table placement. But, got used to that and had a wonderful evening and the dinner was terrific. Not great atmosphere for conversation. The food will most likely bring us back but I would caution folks you will have to talk loud and don't bring friends with hearing issues.

I've been to Blu Sardinia a couple of times now. The food is always delicious and well prepared. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Restaurants near Prince's Island Park

I tend to go before the dinner or lunch rush, so I can't address how they handle a packed restaurant. My only negative comment is that the tables are WAY too close together. It's rather awkward and makes one feel uncomfortable. You feel like strangers are invading your personal space, but it's not their fault. Loved the Italian inspired cuisine! Gelato was a fave, although was a bit pricey for one scoop, would have been perfect as a treat for the birthday guy or bigger scoop!

Our waiter was also very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it for an occasional dinner here. We both loved it! The food is excellent, the waitstaff is outstanding, and the bartender is awesome. Can't say enough good things about this place. The beet salad was julien cut and very hard to eat, the eggplant dish was all greens with two thin slices of eggplant on the bottom. It was hard to find the eggplant. We asked for the steak to be rare but it was medium well. They replaced the steak for another rare steak, and it was cooked medium.

The food was great and the service was outstanding. Each course was well prepared and nicely presented. We like this place. Interesting, unique dinner items, pleasant happy hour options. Interior very nicely done and the service is excellent, great staff, great food options. Our service was quite good and the staff was very friendly.

However, both of our dinners were so-so. We shared a salad of Roasted beets, baby spinach, gorgonzola, balsamic vinaigrette, toasted hazelnuts It was swimming in broth. The excess moisture really took away from the taste of the food. The food was OK but we had to wait for the main course dishes Mor than half an hour. No compensation was offerd, just saying there is big group upstairs.

Love this place as it not only a great restaurant with great food service was a little weak this time but it's across the street from our condo complex. I would love to go more often but it is just too expensive. We eat in Seattle on a regular basis at really nice places Tom Douglas restaurants, Palisades, Crow, etc. That's just not a good value. When we retire in a few years, we will no longer be able to afford this wonderful restaurant. Blu Sardinia is our neighborhood gem.

We can walk across the street and we are there. This time we invited friends from Seattle and they loved it. They are bigger restaurant people than we are, they eat out all the time and they live in downtown Seattle and they felt Blu was as good, if not better than any place near them. We had our usual amazing meal. The food was great, the drinks outstanding and the service excellent. This was our fourth time at Blu Sardinia.

We love the place and the fact that we can walk to it from our house just makes it better. Had my favorite drink the Al Capone and my favorite appetizer the ensalada del mare and loved them both. Had a lamb trio as an entree and it was outstanding. I love this place. Can't wait to go back. We try to go at least every other month as I tend to eat what I want and that gets pretty expensive.

Took my wife, her daughter and daughter's husband to Blu for my wife's birthday dinner. Had our usual great time and great meal. For my wife and I this was our 8th or 9th time at Blu as it is directly across the street from our condos. Love that we can walk there. I want to single out who ever was manning the bar. We all loved dinner. Thanks Blu for a great meal. Lot's of HH choices including personal pizzas. But the restaurant offers many choices from Gelatto's to some very interesting menu items Been here several times for happy hour, thought we'd try dinner.

Excellent and great service. Open Table has that wonderful checkbox that says, 'neighborhood gem' and this is one of them. Especially for us as we live about two blocks away. When we first ate here I fell in love with their cocktail, the Al Capone. It is a Negroni without gin but with rye instead and I am now addicted. But no matter where I order it or try and make it myself, the one at Blu Sardinia always tastes better. It is an amazing glass that I look forward to drinking there. I had not had it until last night and it was amazing. It is steamed octopus, cuttle fish, clams, mussels, prawns in extra virgin olive oil and lemon dressing.

The dressing is so perfectly simple that you can taste every bit of the seafood and tiny very sweet grape tomatoes that were sprinkled around it as well as the fresh herbs sprinkled over it. Blu Sardinia is basically across the street from us. They have been open a year and we go about every other month. I truly love their food I just wish they would change their menu more often. And we would go more often if it were a little less expensive. It's not that it isn't worth it but we would go more often if the menu changed more often and if it wasn't that expensive.

And thankfully we were able to use a gift card my brother had sent me for Christmas. They have some of my favorite food and drink. I had the chicken as a main course, it was very good. Had to share as it was a generous portion. Save room for dessert!! Yum, best dessert EVER! We will definitely return. Loved sitting in the front watching the pizza open. The food and wine were amazing. I had the eggplant with arugula and it was so delicious, I can't wait to go back and have it again! If the restaurant had been more of a bar scene establishment with more noise this would have worked well.

A sister restaurant to Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland where there is more dining space and excellent variety in the regional cuisine. Excellent veal and seafood dishes. Fabrizio Loi does an excellent job! The service at Blu Sardinia hopefully will improve to match the quality of the food offered. We had cocktails before dinner and ordered an appetizer to have with the drink. The waiter brought the drinks and we finished them before the appetizer arrived. Before we could finish the appetizer, the salad arrived. Since the tables are small, it was messy. Overly pricy, acceptably nice Italian food.

Portions seemed a bit small for my liking, I didn't feel full even after appetizers and dessert. I enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and didn't feel out of place in casual clothing.

I'd recommend trying once. Blu Sardinia is a really nice addition to Redmond restaurants. It focuses on cuisine from Sardinia, with many menu items involving seafood of various kinds. But it also covers more traditional Italian items. The service is good and energetic, the ambience could be described as 'modern upscale casual', and its wine list includes quite a few nice wines from Sardinia. Food quality and preparation is very good.

All in all a very pleasant place to enjoy food, drinks, and friends. Can't wait to return and try other dishes! Very beautiful decor but the food was marginal and overpriced. Decent wine list, nice staff. The lamb shank was new for us, anyway and delicious. We could have a complete meal of just appetizers.

We went to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. The food and service were great. We shared three scoops of gelato for desert - there was a good selection. The service was very good - our waiter made an excellent suggestion for wine Gavi de Gavi. Our friends visit her often, but this was our first time. Appetizers were excellent, I had special sea food pasta with Lobster sauce as a main, very good.

One of the best new gems found in Redmond. We met some friends here for a get together. We all enjoyed our meals and never felt rushed as we lingered over dinner. Great food, great service! Appetizers and main courses were outstandingL Desserts weren't that good though. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and way over his head. With that said, the owner Excellent service, great food, fresh everything, pretty restaurant! Blu Sardinia had no trouble getting our group of seven in for lunch with only a couple days' notice.

The wait staff is very attentive, keeping drinks filled and making excellent recommendations. Everybody enjoyed their entrees and we sampled from quite a few items available for lunch. We appreciated the rather long list of Sardinian wines and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the server. Tables are a bit too close together. The location is nothing special, no view , but overall good quality Italian food, with good service.

They could do a better job with original Italian ingredients, as more variety of cured meat or cheese. For the price, I would rather pick a restaurant with a view next time. I took my wife to Blu Sardinia for her birthday dinner after reading a favorable review in the Seattle Times. The food was excellent, starting with a spinach and endive salad that was outstanding.

Our entrees were very good and we finished off the meal with three different flavors of gelato. The service was very good and there was a good selection of wines by the glass. Due to the high ceiling the noise level was above average. There is also a private dining room above the main dining area. The staff is always very friendly and. After the Christmas holidays, but before New Years we wanted a nice, quiet lunch to 'reward ourselves' for getting thru the holiday chaos.

Blu Sardinia was the perfect spot. Wait staff very attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. The chef even made us a beet salad that is normally only served at dinner when we asked if it was available. After second visit to Blu Sardinia we decided not to return on a busy night. The noise level is almost deafening at times. Service slows noticeably on a night when all tables taken. Food is not hot.

Little things also impress, in this case negativelyusing tap water that is unfiltered to fill water glasses that have strong chloriation tasteservice is friendly, but backup help is needed to get the food to the tables hot. This is a newish restaurant. It has an interesting menu, nice wine list. The food was okay, not great. I must say their dinner salad was fantastic - greens, goat cheese, strawberries, spiced walnuts all in a very light balsamic dressing. The bread basket had some light, melt-in-your-mouth crackers that were delicious.

The meal was overshadowed by an overeager, immature server who was constantly trying to rush us or upsell us. I will return and give it another shot, making sure I don't experience that particular server again. The entrees were good , but they weren't outstanding. Wine suggestion was excellent. A little louder than usual because of the 3-piece band, but a wonderful evening all the same. We decided on Blu Sardinia on a Thursday because of the live music though! We dine often and like to enjoy conversation and the ambiance but this was not to be at Blu Sardenia.

We made the mistake of ordering dinner when we ordered a glass of wine; I mentioned to the waiter that we were in no hurry but the antipasti dish arrived before the wine followed too quickly by the main course. The food was excellent and we will return but will control the pace by not ordering until we are ready after the first wine course. Salad was wilted and spinach was sub-standard and not at all fresh and crisp.

And service, I don't really know where our waitress would disappear to, the restaurant was not busy at all. Service was excellent, prompt and attentive.

  • Efflorescence;
  • My husband ordered the rainbow trout and thought it was delicious. It is a unique restaurant, specializing in Italian food from Sardina. The pride taken in this restaurant by its owners is apparent. There is a room upstairs in the restaurant that I checked out, also beautifully decorated. It can also be rented - a great idea for a private party or celebration that I will keep in mind.

In the front of the restaurant is Italian ice cream. You can just come into the restaurant to order ice cream to go. Great idea on a warm summer night or after seeing a movie at the Bella Bottega. So glad to have such a nice restaurant in the neighborhood - looking forward to going back. Our service was great, but the portions were small.

This was especially true for the gnocchi. The seafood salad apply was mostly fennel. This is a nice restaurant with great food and a friendly staff. We were treated very well. My only complaint is that tables are too close to each other. One of our favorite spots in Redmond. But our last time there was not great.

Food portions were chintzy and over cooked. Very disappointing, enough so that we may try another local spot. We had lunch there during Seattle Restaurant Week. It was a great deal! The interior of the restaurant is impressively beautiful! The only downside is the tables are a bit crowded so if you are not slim you will have hard time to pass thru tables to the restroom. The service was awesome! The water glass was filled many times. The server was very attentive and polite. I think one of the best service I had ever, seriously!

The food was great - salmon was cooked perfectly; thin crispy cracker was yummy; tiramisu was good too! We will definitely return: Service was extremely slow. My wife's dinner out cold, lamb was undercooked, and entree did not come out as ordered. Server was initially in denial not indicating nothing was wrong. General Manager stepped in an finally apologized and paid for our dinner. They never did explain what went wrong. The folks we sat next to had a similar experience. We had been to the restaurant twice before without an experience like this.

GM left message the next day to apologize and encourage us to return. Great place for small plates, happy hour, desserts and cocktails. Entrees were solid, but not anything to write home about. This is a neighborhood restaurant for me though, and I'll most likely be back! We loved everything about this place! Great service, ambience, quality food, even the bathroom was nice quote from our guests 'best lady's room I have seen'.

Started with some nice Italian appetizer and finished with Italian dessert and Gelato excellent!! This is real Italian style food, don't think 'Pizza' only which is typically low quality fast food style at other places. Had dinner here the other night and was very impressed.

Lovely food, great service and beautiful decoration Soon to become one of our regular favorites. My husband and I had a lovely time at Blu Sardini. It was a wonderful experience and I'm glad to find such caliber in Redmond. The architecture is unique and we enjoyed the cosmopolitan atmosphere. It's great for dates and small groups of people. We had pasta dishes cooked to perfection and the most delicious Tiramisu! Food was very good and very good quality. My only complaint would be that they are little overpriced.

The mocktails were great. He had the Lamb shank and I had the seared Sea Scallop special. Both were so delicious!

The only negative I have is that it seemed to take awhile to get our drinks and food. The waiter was great and we loved the experience. We've been Blue Sardinia twice. The first time we were impressed with the food but thought prices were high. The second time the food was merely average and prices were of course still high.

Had New Year's Eve dinner at this amazing gem of a restaurant. The Italian food was absolutely outstanding and the service was as close to perfect as we have ever had. The fritto misto was done flawlessly - scallops, shrimp and calamari lightly dusted with semolina. The minestrone soup was just like we have had on our trips to Italy - flavorful and chock full of goodies. The Barbabietole beet salad was as gorgeous to look at as it was to eat. We loved the Farfalle al Salmone - not too rich, but so Finished off with the housemade gelato.

All we could say was YUM!!!!! This was our second visit to Blu Sardinia. Our first was a visit to the bar where we enjoyed a couple of cocktails and a few appetizers. We enjoyed it so much we came back a few weeks later for dinner and were not disappointed! The food was excellent and the service outstanding! The only reason for the 4 stars on ambiance rather than 5 was that we felt that tables were just a bit too close together and the atmosphere would be bumped up a notch it there were table cloths on the tables instead of the wood grain veneer.

Blu Sardinia has a great selection of Italian seafood dishes. The salmon and bow tie pasta was great. I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant is truly excellent! We needed to have an early dinner on New Year's Eve, prior to driving into Seattle and were so lucky to have stumbled onto Blu Sardinia! Our cocktails were perfect and generous, the service was excellent, and the bill was very reasonable.

I had the farfalle with smoked salmon and my wife had the evening special lobster ravioli. Both were excellent, with generous portions and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere inside is very relaxing. It looks quite chic but not in a trendy soon to be dated way.

    About Blu Sardinia

The menu isn't extensive - there are just enough choices without being overwhelming. Everything was delicious; perfectly prepared. The service was top-knotch. It wasn't intrusive, but someone was there to refill water or wine quickly. First time at Blue Sardinia The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The food was excellent. We had a very nice experience at Blu Sardinia, and a very solicitous and helpful water. I had the fried brussels sprouts side dish as a starter, and they were delicious, if just a little too oily. Our appetizer was delicious but the salads and the entrees were not good poached pear salad had exactly 4 slivers of pear, wild boar ragu tasted like ground beef-- and strange to see it ground to that extent-- and tomato sauce was clearly from canned tomatoes, with the metallic taste to go with it. Service was good, but the tables are so close together that we felt like we were dining with the family next to us and across from us, and there is no noise dampening with the concrete floors and stark design that we could have participated in their conversation We had high hopes.

It was our first time at Blu Sardinia and chose our wedding anniversary as the hook to get us there. We sat by the window overlooking th. It wasn't intimate but it suited us fine. A delicious blend with pancetta. The best restaurant experience we have ever encountered ever. The most authentic taste. We lived in Sardinia for three years while serving in the Navy and 28 years later the first bite brought back all the memories.

We would highly recommend the Blu Sardinia as a place to go for the best dinning experience ever! This was our first visit to the restaurant and it was simply an amazing experience. Our server Erynn took the time to understand our tastes, then walked us through the wine list and the menu making some recommendations about what we like. She was absolutely spot on as the food was perfect and the wine fantastic! One of the best parts of the dinner was subtlety of the flavors.

They were well balanced and done to perfection. This was certainly a 5 star experience. We've been a few times to Blu Sardinia since first opening and it's now consistently excellent. A few small teething problems initially but the food is now excellent and service usually very good although a bit slower at lunch time. We have gone there several times at lunchtime with clients and also evening with friends. Only negative - Blu Sardinia please bring back the fantastic ricotta cheesecake even if it's no longer Summer! Finally, a second place on the Eastside with fabulous attention to the customer, great food, and pleasant, unobtrusive service.

We will definitely be going back. This is a place where you can dine. Who knew that the Sardinian take on Italian could be so delicious. The use many authentic ingredients from Sardinia like wine and olive oil. The waiter was in his own world. He was quick to remove things and quick while moving around. We did not get the table we had requested and had to change our table. The Risotto was overcooked. I ordered prawns with my risotto but got shrimp. Our entire group of 6 was very impressed with the food and service. I was surprised when the server offered that if there was something specific we would like that was not on the menu, not to hesitate to ask because the kitchen could probably whip it up for us.

That's a first for me. It was nice to have such a great meal without having to drive into the city like Seattle or Bellevue. Ate here during Seattle Restaurant week. Nothing outstanding but was ok. Service was a bit slow due to the number of people dining with Restaurant Week. Had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time for a table. Fresh and quality ingredients - real chunks of meat and seafood, just the right flavoring plus presentation!

Also love their focaccia and crispy bread, not to mention THE only authentic Italian pizza around! We really enjoyed our dinner, it brought back fond memories of our vacations in Italy!

    Vertigo : Ahmed Mourad :

We where there to celebrate our 36th. Highly recommend this restaurant, can't wait to go back, maybe for some Happy Hour: Quite a transformation of a former coffee shop. Upon entering, you see a huge, mosaic pizza oven. High ceilings and white tablecloths make it elegant, yet you can still dress casually. We tried two pastas at lunch: Tagliatelle with meatballs and Farfalle with smoked salmon. Also enjoyed a Sardinian white wine that I had never had before. Very friendly, informative, and attentive service.

We had a wonderful time at Blu Sardinia. Our waitress Erynn was exceptional - personable but not cloying, charming but not overly chatty, always there when you needed her. The restaurant is lovely, and thankfully not noisy, but the tables are quite close together which makes getting in and out potentially awkward, and I imagine it makes serving food and drinks difficult.

The appetizers were really good, but the entree portion was smallish perhaps cut in half for this special deal? The quality of the food was quite good, and we discovered an Italian wine that we enjoyed so much we took pictures of the label. All in all a lovely evening. The carpaccio, veal scallopine, and tiramisu gelato were delicious! Our server was amazing
