If you want to read a book that will surely get you turned on this is it. This book was freaking awesome. I could not put it down once I started reading it. It was very explicit and very detailed. This book will make you wonderful if things like this really do happen during training. And the things that the guy and girls were doing to each other will blow your mind. I want to know what happens to Mitchell and Sloan.

I can't wait to read more books by this author. This is my third book by Aaron Powell and I just have to say: It tells a story of a hot marine sergeant while training his recruits. It has a few hilarious passages and many hot excerpts that made me close the book and jump my boyfriend's bones before I could resume the reading.

I receive this book as a gift from Aaron Powell and, naively, thought it was some story about Iran and Afghanistan war, as Aaron has served in both. What a wonderful surprise! A very well written erotica! I recommend it for those who like erotica and short stories.

And this is definitely a book for readers who like erotica as most of this novella is very very steamy!! There is always a rivalry between the branches, but we are all similar too and serve the same purpose to protect our country. In basic training, I heard stories of recruits getting into compromising situations and being busted in all sorts of unusual places and times.

So this book definitely brought back those memories and made me wonder if some of his story could happen. I read this story first because my grandma borrowed some of my books by Aaron over Christmas and read this book, Priority, and Doomsday Diaries; she said this book should be read first. In particular, my grandma is into military romances. Okay, there are some very steamy scenes and some with multiple partners.

I love my action packed adventures, but occasionally, erotica adds some sizzle to my day. Aaron is a great author, and I will definitely continue reading his work. He is becoming one of my favorites. This is my first Aaron Powell book but it won't be my last. Also my first erotic story from a male author, I had no idea what I'd been missing reading solely from the female point of view.

This short story is unbelievably hot, it's dirty from page one and just gets better. This one's staying in rotation on my bookshelf, I can see reading this one over an over. Feb 24, Jennifer Rodriguez rated it really liked it. I normally do not read adult books. This was recommended to me by a co-worker and needless to say it took me 1hr to read. It was really good what made me give this 4 stars was the ending. I didn't expect that to happen at all.

I don't want to spoil the book for anyone so I will keep what happens to myself but for whoever is thinking about reading this the ending will have you dying. Yes first person narrative is used, but we are just presented with the surface and very little depth. Why does Sergeant Tice does what he does? What motivates him to do it? The answers are never presented.

I would have liked to see a book between two characters in Epilogue though. Apparently marine life tends to be strict and regimental, perhaps that's an author's response to this type of life? A fantasy fulfillment for marines to indulge in without worrying about reality? The story is written in a first person narrative from Sergeant Tice's point of view.

The life of the marines is briefly presented at least relating to sex, or what's appropriate and not, as well as a workout regime. At one point it does go off into third person narrative in the epilogue. There is a pleasant and a mindless escape from reality of STDS and jealousy, and of course, there are pleasant non-attached threesomes.

I'm mentioning this for people who will complain about lack of STD discussion and so forth.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in with a bachelor of arts in criminal justice, minoring in psychology. He also completed a second bachelor of arts in business administration at Ashford University, where he graduated with distinction in Aaron and his wife, Michelle, and son, Luke, live near Austin, Texas. Before reading this book, I read the author's Sugar Baby book. I have to admit that the two are very similar in terms of style, erotic parts, and so forth, with few exceptions: I felt that Sugar Baby is slightly more in depth, and this book lacks the depth that Sugar Baby had.

Its a bit of a fantasy walk so to speak. I still enjoyed it a lot, although for me it felt predictable. There is a somewhat interesting interplay between the power statuses and secrets, but law gets involved at the end and it keeps the male character happy. I would have liked to know more about the possible story in the Epilogue, and would have liked it the author wrote a book containing these particular characters. Before reading this, please remember that the appropriate age for this will be 18 or older, and it does contain some situations that will make people uncomfortable with it.

I would like to thank the author for the opportunity to read and review the book. Stay away unless a masochist 1: Good for insomnia 2: Horrible but readable; 3: Readable and quickly forgettable, 4: Buy it, keep it and never let it go. Apr 18, Jeff Dawson rated it really liked it. I should say so!
