The Wolf on the Hill (The Wild Irish Wolves Book 1)
Luke helps her with her grandfather one time and from that time she keeps on getting pulled to I got this book for an honest review. Luke helps her with her grandfather one time and from that time she keeps on getting pulled to him. Logically, because she is his mate. But Luke is afraid of his own demons and to turn into one he keeps her at a distance. Tamryn is a strong woman and doesn't let Luke get away with that. She fights for him and herself. Against the town and against her grandfather.
Things turn for the worst when Luke runs and her grandfather is in the hospital and the bad police guy is still after Tamryn for his own reasons. Lots of emotion, adventure and erotic moments in this story. The moment when her grandfather leaves the hospital and something bad is happening not want to spoil by saying what did happen and the moment her grandfather thanks Luke for his help was so touching.

I can't say enough great things about this book! Luke's kind heart has grown on me since his introduction in Claimed By The Pack.
A tortured, lost wolf held captive by his family who kept him away from the rest of his family that he needed. On the verge of permanently losing the man to the beast, The was able to see enough good within himself to stay for Tamryn. Tamryn may not be a full blooded Native American, but she still embodies their cultures loyalty to their families. Sent away by the onl I can't say enough great things about this book! Sent away by the only family she had left, she too knew what it was like to feel adrift. She already had strength but she needed love, security, and welcoming understanding.
Everything she needed she could find in Luke and his Pack family. She just had to help Luke learn to live in harmony with the beast that lived inside of him so in return, he could give her the family she lost. A definite 5 star for the emotional carnage this book tore through my heart! Jun 11, Jason Bunnell rated it it was amazing. How can he claim her when his wolf is taking over? Would she still accept him when she finds out his darkest moment?
Oct 12, Gil rated it really liked it. Highly recommended Paranormal Tale I love a well-written story, and this one was full of my necessary components. Love and romance, action, and this story additionally threw in mystery and suspense, much to my delight! This book had the same fight for whats right save the damsel in distress feel as the last, but the fight was more if an inner fight and a lot of inner dialogue.

Howling Against the Moon: The Last Wolves of Ireland
There is less action and more romance. It's a very beautiful, well written romance. He is living alone in a small cottage. A lone wolf without a pack. While this story could very easily be read as a stand-alone, as a reader of the past books by this author, I couldn't help but wonder what put him in this state. Tha I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. That question does get answered, eventually, but meanwhile, we find him living his own unique personal agony.
There is a girl. Of course there's a girl! This is a romance — remember? Her name is Tamryn. She lives with her grandfather, taking care of him, somewhere far up north in Michigan, near where Luke is living. Her grandfather is a Native American, an Odawa, and the head of one of the nine families that originally founded their town. This book has a number of references to the Native American culture and pride the people have in their area. It is interwoven in the story and something I enjoyed very much about this book.
Tamryn has seen Luke's wolf form in the woods. He is a beautiful gray color with shining green eyes. Later, she's returning home from shopping and sees that her grandfather has wandered off. She tracks him in the snow and he's not in good shape. He runs through the woods looking for someone, anyone, to help, and finds an old cabin at the far side of the hill. She runs to it and meets this gorgeous, shirtless man with bright green eyes. It will take her a while before she realizes that he and the wolf are one and the same, but they each find themselves drawn to the other, in a way that cannot be denied.
Of course, things are never that simple. Then there's the local sheriff, Beau, who's got it in his head that Tamryn is his. And there's the personal crisis Luke is going thru. It's not just all romance and lovey-dovey. Plus, another Alpha wolf is introduced, Bas, who will be the subject of the next book. This is an interesting, potent story with plenty of meat on the bone. I loved this book!
The more I think about it, I believe it is my favorite one by Kimber White so far. It was different, with a deep probing into the minds and hearts of Luke and Tamryn, and the back-story of the events and culture of the area. It's so much more than just another shifter story. Good girl Mia Blake never behaves badly. Except for the time she shifts into her wolf, chases a stranger through Olcan Hills, and Can two stubborn wolf shifters let down their guards long enough to take a chance on love? Except for the time she shifts into her wolf, chases a stranger through Olcan Hills, and has the hottest sex of her life on the forest floor.
He has no desire to settle down. She is afraid to upset her family. But, with someone determined to destroy Caleb's inheritance, and his secret fling with Mia getting hot and heavy, moving on isn't as easy as he'd hoped. Can either of them let down their guards long enough to take a chance on love?

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. May 06, Kiru Taye rated it it was amazing Shelves: Some stories just pull you in from the first page.
This is one of them. Jorja's writing style has a seductive quality that entices you in and keeps you turning the pages with her sensual descriptions and steamy scenes. It's easy to understand the characters motivations and cheer them on to overcome their conflicts. The chemistry between Mia and Caleb sizzled right from the moment they met. The sex scenes are frequent and steamy but not explicit, which was absolutely fine by me.
The author managed to keep me on edge with the actions of the villain but in the end no real danger materialised. Perhaps, Mia or Caleb in some kind of trouble.

I'm hoping the author rectifies this in her next book of the series which I hope is Rory and Naomi's story. The main reason I enjoy reading paranormal romance is the sense of danger and action sequences interwoven into the stories. Otherwise it might as well be just another contemporary romance. And where's the fun in that? My Verdict Loved it. My Recommendations Buy it. May 25, C. Szarek rated it really liked it. I just finished this book. And it was one of those reads that leaves you with a happy sigh.
Overall the book was hot, heartwarming and funny. I enjoyed the read, it was very quick for me. I'm extremely excited for this series and I cannot wait until the next book. I'm totally attached to the characters, and I can't wait to see who the next story is about. Every now and again there is a call for wolves to be reintroduced but how realistic can this be? And how fair is it to the wolves? Wolves are not the evil killing machines that we often perceive them to be. For all of our legends and fairy tales, it is telling that there is a scarcity of reports of Irish people being killed by wolves in history books and accounts.
Although opportunistic, wolves do not actively seek to engage with humans. However, the damage to livestock would present huge problems. As well as this, there is not enough wild territory left in Ireland to accommodate a successful wolf pack.
And yet even today, many Irish people feel an unexplainable affinity to the wolf. This is not just about acknowledgement and respect, but something more; something inherent and in the Irish blood. This animal existed and hunted in Ireland for generations. Perhaps it is an ancient genetic memory of the time when the sight of a pack moving through a forest would sing a primal song in the hearts of ancestors, or maybe it is the guilt of knowing that something primal and connected to the soul of this country has been lost.
Ireland was once home to wolves. Whatever it may be, Irish people, even today, feel a strong bond with the totemic animals that once roamed the mountains and forests of Ireland and which gave the country its ancient name: Hickey, Kieran , 'Wolf-forgotten Irish hunter'.
