All my years spent in fervent study of human behavior paled, when I was introduced to Astrology. After years of searching, I had finally found the perfect system to help me understand the multi-faceted layers of the human personality, and of our individual core purpose here. For the first time in my life I felt truly empowered. Along with these monuments, Astrology has remained alive, withstanding the test of cataclysms and the tests of time. This alone speaks of its veracity.

My Path Astrology | Past Events

A physician without a knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician. I went on to reflect that, maybe, just maybe, there is a reason why Astrology has been examined inside out, and studied with great devotion, by prominent figures throughout history, some of them being: Maybe, just maybe, there is a quantifiable reason as to why Astrology has been revered and employed by so many renowned physicians from every era, including ours. Yes, maybe, just maybe, there is a sensible explanation as to why so many respected philosophers, inventors, doctors, scientists, and mathematicians, were avid students and practitioners of Astrology, and YES, I DO want to understand why.

Consider the monumental Astronomical Clocks, paintings, and tools created for the use of Astrology, that can still be found within famous cathedrals, squares, and museums around the world.

This meant a significant investment of effort, time, and money, and they must have been for reasons far greater than that of pure entertainment, or the gratification of belief systems. The following is one of many examples of the reverence and respect that was bestowed upon Astrology:.

The truth is, whether we like it or not, Astrology has been used as a Science for thousands, and thousands of years, and if it was important enough for entire empires, kingdoms, medical systems, and renowned figures of every era to devote their time into the mastery of Astrology, then it sure as well is important enough for me to understand WHY.

I voraciously read, studied, and consumed every bit of information I could get my eyes upon…. Furthermore, I could no longer deny the clear indications that one of my purposes here was to expand from my comfort zone and gather a community where I was to share my knowledge and wisdom for the upliftment of all involved.

I decided to put Astrology to the test, and consciously activate the dormant power that had been hibernating within my 11th house all those years, and against many odds, I began to, headstrong, push myself to the edge of every comfort zone. He chose not to, but his brother did. Due to my sheltered upbringing, this information was only made known to me in Only days after the Scorpio New Moon which took place right on top of my natal Uranus I found out that I was now a 4th generation Astrologer.

Charts continued coming alive to me, day after day, night after night, it was all I could see before me. Every single night without fail, for about 18 months, my dreams consisted entirely of celestial measurements, angles, latitudes, longitudes, and convergence points. It felt as if years worth of information was being downloaded to me.

You don't need to be an expert to appreciate this book because it's written in a simple yet detailed description of how astrology affects our daily lives.

Kelly Lowe has given us the study and use of astrology in "plain English", and frequently reminds the reader that with guidance astrology offers an insight into planning and organizing one's life and better managing its difficulties. She's incorporated personal sports interests and hobbies into witty, accurate descriptions of the sun signs.

The author reveals sensitivity and guidance which subtly induces the reader to close the book and email for an appointment. You'll want to check for Mercury retrograde fully explained in the book to clean out closets, clean off your desk, or hunt for the other earing. Reading this book offers an opportunity for accomplishment and understanding. Kelly has a knack for storytelling, and this book is a real page turner. She deftly weaves anecdotes, stories and real life astrology applications into the nuts and bolts of understanding astrology to creat a beautifully woven tapestry spanning many decades of her rich life and career.

Many, many "Aha" moments await each reader as we pore over the reference sections looking for lost loves, our children, parents and friends, as well as finally being able to explain that pesky ex-spouse's infuriating behaviors! This book is a very pleasant and easy, entertaining and informative read, perfect for gift-giving.

One person found this helpful. I totally enjoyed reading about Kelly's life experiences and how she came to be an astrologer. Anyone not versed in astrology terms will easily understand this book because the author takes the time to bring it down to our level.

Mercury retrograde, a bear sometimes to endure, was shown in a different more understandable light. I really enjoyed Kelly's book.

I've worked with her since the mids for guidance in business and personal decisions. It's important to acknowledge that there are influences beyond our control affecting our experience every day. The better we can understand these influences and navigate positively, the richer our lives will be. Just reading some of Kelly's examples of how the stars and planets have affected her life at various times is enough to demonstrate that Astrology isn't fortune telling, it's a science. An Astrologer's Journey was my first true visit to the world of astrology.

I had thought of it as just a fun pastime for people. Now I understand the importance of knowing which way the stars are pointing me. The book is a fun read--whatever you think of astrology. I really enjoyed this book because it helped me to understand astrology from a very practical point of view. Astrology can seem very overwhelming because there are so many factors to it but this book made it relevant to me and how I can actually use it in my own life.
