Alien Abduction Bundle: 3 In 1 Anthology

This 3 title set is my first foray into Langlais' scifi writing and does not disappoint. All three books have her trademark banter much of which was read to my husband because he had to know why I was laughing so much , the strong and well matched characters that I've come to expect in her books - though they're not I love Eve Langlais' books, I think I love Eve Langlais.

Eve Langlais has a talent for building her fictional worlds with more than enough attention to detail that the reader knows that she takes her writing seriously but not so much that one feels she's writing her version of LOTR OR that she really believe this is all real. I realize now that this is a lot of review that's all about to boil down to this - for a rollicking good read that's all about entertaining the reader - grab these books and settle in for a light hearted good time.

Surprisingly I actually wasn't bothered too much by some of the dubcon stuff, possibly because I've enjoyed some power play of my own in the past ;. It didn't come across crazy creepy, though there were a few scenes actually one from each book I just realized that were super questionable.

As i don't let my rating scare you away, this was just in need of abundant editing. As in I almost had major issues, so Okay, I've been up all night hanging out with a friend so this is making zero sense. Needed editing, dubcon, funny, not spectacular, but still I laughed. Anyone who reads this will find themselves giggling, snorting and full-on belly laughing at How could I have waited so long to read Eve Langlais's Purple Warrior books? Anyone who reads this will find themselves giggling, snorting and full-on belly laughing at the shenanigans the heroes get themselves into, and sighing along with the heroines at their oft times misguided efforts at romance. A more enjoyable space romp I've not come across, and to say I really like the anthology is an understatement.

I never thought I would enjoy aliens, alien abduction, spacecrafts I really enjoyed all three stories. The first is the about Tren, he is really a space pirate, piercings and all. The second is about Jaro, he is fighting being second best, he hates it. The third is about Brax and Xran, they are best friends who have to learn to share one woman. All three have hot purple men and curvy women who tame these aliens.

Alien Abduction Bundle (3-in-1) by Eve Langlais on Apple Books

The next book in this series is Mercenary Abduction. I finished the first story in this book "Accidental Abduction". This book had me laughing in many areas. I would say one thing about the story and that is "quirky". It was entertaining but more on the line of Lost in Space of the 60's with sex thrown in. Though the sex wasnt all that.

I found it hard to put down. Eve Langlais is a talented auther.

I definately look forward to reading more done by her. Kennedy on December 16, I wish she would bundle all her series so much easier to get them all and read them in order.
