Easy read for th grader. However the book reveals more about the superstar baller than what one may have been a little curious to know. I do consider james harden one of the great basketball players. I do recommend this read to a basketball lover. Many times one can underestimate a person from afar.

Since coming to Houston, Harden has rapidly become one of my favorite players. There is no attempt to show us who Dwyane Wade is as a person, either through his own words or through describing what he is like off court. Has he ever visited a young fan in the hospital? Is he active in promoting youth basketball? Does he even have any life off the court, other than to have had multiple marriages?

This biography doesn't tell us. Yet in the subtitle we're informed that this is an "inspiring story. The writing here is extremely formulaic. We're told on what night he scored 42 points in a game against a particular opponent, how many double doubles he had during, say, the season, the number of games he missed because of a particular injury, and so forth. And this is done for every year of his professional career and to some extent his college career as well. After a while I was swimming in a sea of statistics that were so overwhelming that I was sure to forget most of them, but which, if I was interested, I could most certainly find on any one of a number of online sites.

As with his personal life, almost nothing is done to make Wade into a real flesh-and-blood human being.

In the end, this lack of fleshing out the character is my main reason for being disappointed with this book. If you love basketball and want to know everything about every game a star athlete has played in then Clayton Geoffrey is your man. His attention to detail is remarkable. His play by play leaves out nothing. In the interest of being fair, I must confess that I am not a basketball fan or baseball etc. Although great detail is given to Dwayne Wade the star athlete, there are little no details about his personality or life outside the game.

For me that left a void. The book is well written if the reader is simply on a fact finding mission. If however the reader seeks a personal story of the star, this isn't it. This book was awesome I liked it.

My favorite part is when the won the NBA Finals. If I had to choose my least favorite part is him struggling in his first 12 years of his life.

To be honest I wouldnt change that book at all. I recommend this book to anyone that likes sports,basketball,or is a heat fan. Even though it wasn't a super long book it was still a good book. There is my book report.

Dwayne Wade is a father of two kids i had forgot their names. They look just like alike! The author of this book is himself Dwyane Wade. Im very glad to have this book because i've been reading alot lately.

C, but i think i'll read this book a second time. Dwayne Wade have beautiful girlfriend named Gabrielle Union. Dwayne Wade is lucky because he have a beautiful lady on his side. The main characterin this book is Dwayne Wade and his two boys. Dwayne Wade wife had been custody i really don't know why. But again thanks for the book. I enjoy reading it again.
