A lot of people didn't like the ending. I thought it fit the tone of the game quite well, which was sort of plodding and slow, with a couple bits of good emotional sections. If you want to play a better story game, get "What Remains of Edith Finch. Probably the best game I've played in a while.

Full of suspense, and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was gonna happen next. I enjoyed every second that I played this game. Firewatch was like playing a book. Everything about this game is superb, the voice acting, the writing, the visuals,the story, and everything else in between. Firewatch was a pleasure to play and experience, so good that I will replay it many times. Didn't really know what to expect from this game but I did give it a fair shake.
