I would definitely recommend this apartment. Such a lovely apartment and one of the best hosts I have had. The apartment is just as advertised, warm and cosy with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and you will need it - Cuneo is awash with amazing food; in our 5 days we bought cheese from a local dairy, trout from a fishery right in town and meat from the butcher which is virtually next door. We also were lucky to visit during the region's chestnut festival; food is serious here. You must also visit Locanda Del Falco in the main square, an excellent and surprisingly affordable restaurant.

The nature and views right on your doorstep are breathtaking Valle Gesso is great destination for hikers and birdwatchers, and the nearby Wolf centre is definitely worth a visit and the apartment is a perfect base, and Debora the perfect host. We were on a trip for our honeymoon and came across this air bnb last minute wanting to seek some rest and relaxation. Their home, built by Jean-Didier is truly stunning, has a wonderful homely feeling and is impeccably clean. We got spoilt as well with homemade bread and tapenade, accompanied by a lovely aperitif! We shall be returning and recommending to friends and family.

Awesome space, terrific hosts, unforgettable town with breathtaking views of the Var. Karine and Jean-Didier were lovely hosts. Their house has a fantastic view, with a large terrace where we were able to do yoga and enjoy an incredible sunset. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast was great! The view from the terace is just breathtaking. We felt really comfortable and Karine and her Family contributed a lot to it. I highly recommend staying with Karine and JD. The highlight is the garden that overlooks the mountains. The old part of the village is lovely too and the swimming pool is close by with stunning views. You won't regret staying there! Ottimo soggiorno, grazie mille!! Marzia's house is wonderful! Its very big and comfortable with 2 lovely balconies looking towards the mountains! A great place of three levels with two full baths and one 2-pce bath, one on each floor. First level is sitting area but can be an extra bedroom, second level is the kitchen area with large balcony.

There are also a sofa bed if you need extra sleeping room. The third level is the master bedroom with ensuite bath, tons of closet spaces, front and back balcony with seating rooms and very spacious. Would recommended for a couple or a small family who wants to stay here and explore the region. Too bad we didn't spend more time. Marzia is a great host, very friendly, helpful and warm. You will feel right at home in this little village. We spend two nights in Marzia's apartment.

It is located close to the mountains in a small and calm town. The apartment is clean and has a nice terrace with mountain-view. It's perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities! We arrived late in the night, but Marzia still gave us a warm Welcome. The apartment was much bigger than expected - three floors with several beds and three bathrooms: Beautiful surroundings in a quiet area! We can't praise Marzia enough. She was very patient with our arrival time and was very helpful in assisting us with local information. The charming old house is located in a beautiful location and has all the modern conveniences.

It has 3 levels with two large bedrooms and one large living room with kitchen where more guests can be accomodated if one needs. A large assortment of tea and coffee and biscuits were provided to guests. We didnt get to enjoy the wonderful view from the two roomy terrasses as we were in a hurry but highly recommend anyone to stay a few days to take advantage of it.

Stayed in Marzia's house with a child under two. There were toys and comic books, enough to keep the child entertained for a while. In terms of child safety I didn't have any troubles, just watch out around stairs like you would anywhere else. House is quite big, 3 floors, several bathrooms, one has a bath tub, one has a shower. Linens, towels all were provided as well as toilet paper, just as listed.

In the kitchen there is enough equipment to make meals. On the day of arrival we even received potatoes and milk from the owner, which was very nice of her and unexpected. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape from a big city, but still be close to civilisation and surrounded by beautiful mountains.

On the third floor there is a sofa where you can just sit or lie down and enjoy the view. The stay at Marzia s house la Bicocca was very comfortable. She is such a friendly a d helpfull host! There is a really big bedroom with lots of toys and books for them. Christiane responds quickly and is a wonderful person. Make sure you see her dogs ; The place is perfect for hiking in Mercantour. Good location for driving between Isola and Auron. The flat is great, plenty of room and good facilities for family. Christiane lives just above and very quick to respond. The village is small but great little shop and bar which is everything you need.

That was really kind of her considering it was around The only thing that disturbed me, but it was also our fault the description is clear enough, is that we have to take the car for everything, supermarket is around 10 min drive as is the village center and there is no way to walk to the village. Cindy's place is wonderful. It's a bit out of the way, but it's a lovely quiet spot in the mountains. The pool was fantastic to enjoy and the kids really enjoyed the range of toys and games available to play with.

Highly recommended, thanks very much. The arriving is a small adventure but when you have done it once it is no problem. The Spot is perfect for day trips to the Mercantour and Verdon. In 10 Minutes with the car you can reach supermarket and everythink what you need. Cindy and Manu have been wonderful hosts. We spent great time around the swimming pool. They have two kids who played with ours , a dog, the surroundings are gorgeous.

Renaud's place is exceptional. Such a stylish cottage with beautiful view. I fell in love with this place. Perfect place to escape from busy city. You can just relaxed in the garden or make couple of trips to mountain or spa. Thank you again Renaud to share this amazing place with us! We sat in the yard and had a picnic with wine and just took in the view. Perfect for couples as a romantic getaway who don't mind being away from a large city. Very nice place, complete with everything, excellent location, and reasonably close parking. The host was quite accommodating with our several delayed arrival times. This really was a great place. We had a great time in this lovely appartment. It is quite spacious, well furnished, ideal for families with children. Our 7 year old daughter appreciated the fun games that Val left in the corner. At night it is very calm. There are bakeries and restaurants just around the corner, and there is always space for parking in a public parking just up the road.

Our family of 5 had a fabulous stay here. The house is situated perfectly, in the center of Saint Martin-Vesubie, a charming small town close to Nice it took us just over an hour to drive from the Nice airport. Valerie met us at the house and showed us around - she is very kind, accommodating and our communication with her was flawless.

The house itself was well outfitted and comfortable for the 5 of us. We took several amazing hikes in the area - the most fantastic was the hike up to the Refuge de la Cougourde where we had a very nice lunch and then further on to Lac de Trecolpas. It is a beautiful area to visit and we can highly recommend Valerie's super apartment as a home base!

We had a wonderful week in this truly charming and well equipped apartment. St Martin is a lovely place to stay with its maze of old streets to explore, and fantastically situated for hiking up to the spectacular high peaks along the Italian border. Cute spacious apartment in old town house. Useful washing line over balcony with a new washing machine as well. Building itself is old with thick walls giving excellent insulation - v useful in hot summers. Fantastic walks direct from the door as well as higher mountain walks from at least 3 separate valleys. Highly recommended - there are steep steps to access this first floor apt.

The place was perfectly located, well equipped and with great pluses like baby crib, nespresso coffee machine. Definitely a 5 - we would be delighted to come back! Wonderful accommodations with breathtaking views, just down the road from the town center of Rigaud. Maryse was very kind and communicative, as well as patient with our horrible French her English is excellent. She also recommended some hiking trails in the area. It was a wonderful experience! We stayed 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped but the terrace is where we spent every waking minute apart from cooking.

It is a fabulous, sunny space, overlooking the gardens and down the valley and up to the mountains, ever changing with the light.

It was so perfect there on the terrace, reading, relaxing, eating that we had to tear ourselves away to see other places. Well worth driving the circuit up the Gorge of the Cians; wandering around beautiful Beuil with its tiny crammed houses some with wooden roofs ; passing through Valberg and driving back down the Gorges of Daluis them back to the Terrace It is especially lovely to walk from the house up to the village of Rigaud which is utterly beautiful But best of all is the terrace.

Maryse is very friendly and practical and respectful of privacy but willing to be helpful.

The sun came out in the morning and we sat out on the terrace before checking out. Wish we could have stayed longer, such a tranquil place. The apartment is nice, clean and recently renovated. There is a children's playground just across the road, and the surroundings are calm and beautiful.

Philippe is a great host. Very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and everything feels newish and well-kept. Pierce and I had a wonderful stay in Auron. The apartment is adorable and super comfortable. You can watch the ski runs from the sitting room and the views are truly beautiful. The bedroom is quite with a comfy bed essential after a big day of sking. We prepared lots of breakfasts and lunches in the apartment, the kitchen is well equiped and it had everything we needed.

Our stay could not have gone smoother. This is a very nice place in the Cians valley, between the upper and lower gorges of that river. The apartment has low ceilings and it is not too spacious, but it is clean, well-equipped and friendly. Beautiful eastward view on the mountains on the opposite of the valley. Ideal for a breakfast in the sun. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. It's very queit and cozy house.

I can enjoy the mountain life witout any bothering. If you want take a rest in the middle of mountain, recomend this house. We loved our visit "on the farm"! We enjoyed the hiking around the villages, the drive up the valley, and the peaceful calm of sitting in the lawn chairs. Waking up with the roosters and the other birds was idyllic. Maryse's property is a little bit of paradise with views to die for. If we ever have the chance to return to France, we will be back! Great place in a great area. Tons of things to explore in the French Alps. There is a information centre right across the road from the place.

We got very delayed after a late flight to Nice and Olivier stayed up until 1. We really enjoyed Oliver's apartment and his warm welcome! Cozy and quaint and highly recommended! This is such a lovely place, a rustic building in a great location - just a few steps away from traditional restaurants and shops.

The apartment is very comfortable and cosy, spacious too. Olivier is the perfect host and we hope to return in the near future. Host was very available as needed, The photo of the living area is inaccurate as it is taken with artificial lighting, and actually was very dark. What a lovely fellow Olivier was, very helpful in every way. The place was immaculate and probably one of the best so far, in a beautiful town too!!! Will definitely book here again, hopefully soon: Quaint apartment ideally located in the town unfortunately we arrived late and left early so did not really get to appreciate the property.

Very sweet apartment with great amenities and the host makes a point to ensure your comfort. Nicely decorated and great amenities. My girl friend and I had the most wonderful time at Karens place. Her place is tidy, calm and you can not ask for anything better if you want to have a nice calm weekend away from the city. Karen is absolutely the nicest person, who will welcome you like a own family member.

I am sure to go back to Greoliers and I know I would always prefer to stay at Karens place. Karen was an absolute wonderful host! We loved every minute of our stay in her mountain retreat, from the warm welcome to the amazing view. We ate dinner every night al fresco on the lovely patio furniture and soaked in the incredible view.

The apartment was clean and a bit more stylishly outfitted than many other airbnbs I have stayed at. Karen was super quick to respond to us, and shared several wonderful recommendations for things to do with our little ones. Her place is a very short walk into town, and so deliciously quiet. The mountain air is fantastic. If you are looking for a quiet place in a beautiful and quiet setting, stay with Karen!

This gite is everything you could possibly need. Lovely location, brilliant hostess and cat. A place a peace and quiet in this increasingly mad world. Go and see; you will not be disappointed! Debora's cozy apartment in Valdieri was perfect to explore hikes in the Alpi Marittime area. The apartment is very new and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The village center with bakery, store, butcher and bars is a 2 min walk and Debora has excellent information on local hiking. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Such a lovely apartment and one of the best hosts I have had. The apartment is just as advertised, warm and cosy with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and you will need it - Cuneo is awash with amazing food; in our 5 days we bought cheese from a local dairy, trout from a fishery right in town and meat from the butcher which is virtually next door.

We also were lucky to visit during the region's chestnut festival; food is serious here. You must also visit Locanda Del Falco in the main square, an excellent and surprisingly affordable restaurant. The nature and views right on your doorstep are breathtaking Valle Gesso is great destination for hikers and birdwatchers, and the nearby Wolf centre is definitely worth a visit and the apartment is a perfect base, and Debora the perfect host.

After she quickly checked, she asked us to stay in her place. It was next to the place we supposed to stay. Her place was even better than the other place we were supposed to stay. Her parents made us feel comfortable and apologized about this issue with explanation. They made breakfast for us and treat us as if we are their family. Around this place, they are planning to build their own restaurant in the garden outside. Next time we have chance to visit here, we want to enjoy delicious meal and beautiful surroundings.

Michel et Melanie's lovely little apartment is everything and more what is advertised. The location is close to the Mountains and coastal cities, where you can enjoy both the vibrancy of the city and quaint villages in the remote mountain towns. They are great hosts, and looked after us really well. We were even provided a plate of noodles for dinner on our first day!

In summary, well worth a visit, and the town where it is located contains nice restaurants and bakeries as well as a supermarket and good travel links, so you don't have to drive everywhere. The apartment is small but beautifully maintained in Japanese style. The garden was the best part. We also went for hiking. The place is very scenic. And there is a direct bus to Nice which takes around 1 hour to reach there.

Michel is a very pleasant person to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very peaceful accommodation with private patio and use of beautiful Thai gardens with stunning views over the Var valley. St Martin is in walking distance with friendly, good value restaurants. Michel was friendly, helpful and accommodating. When we had a small issue he was available to help us immediately. This makes for a very relaxing base with the possibility to explore the area and Nice city.

A car is advisable but there are buses and trains going to Nice and further up into the mountains. The house is very convenient and the setting is very nice with the garden and the pool, all being very quiet. The house is a bit tough to find better to ask directions from Michel directly than trust Hidden by Airbnb Maps but worth it, so if you have a car this is a great spot 20 minutes away from Nice.

Great place and wonderful hosts. Beautiful views from the property, and be sure to take a dip in the pool and play with Austin the border collie! Also be sure your GPS tracks to the address and keep going when you get to a steep hill with a chairlift running above it - you're almost there then and it's worth it! Amazing views, great pool, and clean apartment. We loved our time there and wish we could have stayed longer. The drive to the apartment is up a steep and curvy road taking about 10 minutes, which could be dangerous in winter months.

Overall a great place and I would highly recommend. The first drive up makes you wonder why you booked here but when you come around the front of the house you will be happy you made the drive. The unit is self contained with kitchen,living room bedroom and two bathrooms and Patrick and Nicole provide all you need to be comfortable including croissants,milk,wine,beer and coffee. The large deck with sofa and table looks out over the pool and then a stunning mountain village and then the valley.

It is very quiet and relaxing and we recommend the accomodation highly. Beautiful location and awesome views. Great value and opportunity to visit the Cote d'Azur. Very welcoming and warm hosts. The place had everything we needed and more. During the days we were laying down by the nice pool, or went to see Nice. By night we did som barbeque and relaxing. Nicole and Patrick are the most kind people! We stayed 10 nights and they really did everything to make our holiday perfect.

Their hospitality, the warm welcome with a delicious local specialty and a few groceries to start our first day as we arrived later then expected. And most of all, their love and kindness for our dog, who isn't the smallest of his kind. They aloud him to really be at home, as he was walking his rounds around the big garden and even a few times his curiosity led him into their own home! Thank you for that!

The apartment was perfect, we had everything. The kitchen and bathroom are more equipt than shown on the pictures. There is an oven, refrigerator and washing machine at your disposal. A wonderful terrace where we enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets with a good bottle of wine and they even arranged the use of their bbq and a warming machine to heat up the swimming pool, which we enjoyed the utmost!

As our lives are quite hectic with work we were looking for peace and quietness and we could not have found anything more suitable. The view is breathtaking beautiful, the peacefulness upon the mountain although we had some rough rides by car, climbing up and going down during the 20 minute drive, as we have some serious fear of heights! D and they did everything to respect our privacy. They gave us so much advice about where to go with our dog and because of that we visited some beautiful new places! We are so grateful to have known these 2 beautiful people and their lovely, warm home.

We definitely recommend it! The room was exactly like described and photo's were accurate. Had a lovely quiet relaxed holiday on top of the mountain. Patrick and his Wife make you feel welcome and give you the perfect privacy! The view is amazing and Nice is very close by by car. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for the perfect private relax location. Very good place to stay. It was clean, sleek and modern. With very good view from large glass doors which were also windows. It was quiet and very beautiful there.

Tho we were there in non-season so in season it could be that it is not so quiet in season: Perfect place to stay in summer for hiking as we did. A good size, clean and modern 1 Bed Apartment. Lovely view and only a very short drive to the ski lifts.
