Oct 27, Mae Clair rated it it was amazing. As always, this author delivers a tale with characters who steal your heart, and Lissa Capoen and Rand Van Locken are no different. Fortunately, Wolf gets his own tale in the Shadow of the Witte Wieven, already available, and next on my reading radar.

Peterson knows her history, which is woven throughout this tale in just the right amount. We also get an intriguing legend about the Witte Wieven, ancient wise women of Dutch mythology. As someone who loves folklore, I found the legend enthralling, particularly the skill with which Ms. Peterson wove it into her plot.

Van Locken's Witch

I just love Debbies books I have never been disappointed. This one once again keeps you on the edge of your seat and surprises you. It answered questions I wanted from her wonderful book Shadow of the Witte Wieven.. I am anxiously awaiting a sequel.. And I loved the book cover it is amazing..
