It sounds like it happened a hundred years ago, but in reality it was less than thirty, and in my opinion it would have happened the same way if it happened last week. I love that memory, and last night I got to make a very similar memory with my kids at our own dining room table. Even Moose, my little wanna-be-vegetarian at less than two years, loved it.
