Some of these were officials in the Slovak administration, others were prominent German, Czech, or Slovak circles, while still others were suspected of carrying on subversive activities.
The material in the files of political leaders goes far beyond ordinary personal background data. It often includes aides-memoire on political developments especially for , letters, minutes of reports of official cabinet meetings, and the like. Folders also pertain to individuals who were actively working for the SD in various capacities, Twenty-seven DP HptOrgAmt, Amt Wepner folders containing a series of dossiers on individuals who, for a multitude of reasons, became of interest to the DP and its affiliations.
Among the individuals on whom information was collected were members of the DP, members of the Slovak administration, the clergy, foreigners residing in Slovakia, members of the Jewish community, and others. The folder also contains material gleaned from Russian prisoners and captured documents for exploitation by German propaganda agencies. BdSuSD Slowakei lists of individuals in Slovakia to receive document entitling them to special consideration in case of a German withdrawal from Slovakia.
