Honeymoon with the Enemy (Kaitlyns Secrets Book 1)

Domestic abuse goes on in real life and its scary to think people have to go through what Kaitlyn did sometimes for their whole lives. I respect the character of Kaitlyn a lot, because throughout everything she does what she needs to do. She gets on government help to have money for her child, she goes to college, and she gets a job.

She makes sure that Jeanie has a good life, and doesnt have to worry or b scared, all while fighting Danny. This book really makes you realize how important family actually is. When Kaitlyn had nobody, she had her family. Her sisters to cheer her up, and her mother helped with Jeanie a lot. When i found out Kaitlyn used to be anorexic i also thought it was crazy how much someone can change when they have another human being depending on them. In this case Kaitlyn realizes Jeanie is depending on her to be healthy, so she overcomes her internal battles for the sake of herself, and her daughter.

However, not sure if I have read too many Kaitlyn books in a row but this one does not feel as "true to life" as the Kaitlyn books. Danny, Kaitlyn's husband goes through some major changes that I feel should have had a few warning signs prior to the wedding. And since one of Kaitlyn's family member had been through a similiar situation I felt like maybe Kaitlyn's reaction shou I liked following Kaitlyn through this book, following her on her honeymoon and through the stressful parts of marriage.

Kaitlyn's struggles and this coming of age story was compelling and heartwrenching at the same time. This book is so relavent in today's society, I feel it's a must read.

I recommend this one to any reader of women's fiction. I think we can all identiffy with the life situations of young Kaitlyn. This is a well-plotted books that keeps you turning the page. The person on the other line seems to be his significant other because he references them as "darling".

The person on the other line says a bride has gone missing. This might mean there was a wedding at the hotel. If you went to the ballroom with Zahra in previous chapters, you stumble upon a ballroom set up as a wedding. Rourke is confused by this, stating there is no wedding at The Celestial. The screen fades to white and Rourke smiles saying " A large creature emerges from the water; Rourke seems to know the creature. Rourke hangs up the phone and looks upon his computer screen.

The following characters are shown on the screen: These characters are Your Character's Love Interests. If you choose to name the fox, you can call him anything you want. Otherwise, Aleister will call him Furball. These two choices unlock two different diamond options later on.

No matter which option you choose, Diego will choose the other one. You return to Rourke's office like nothing happened. You have encountered your first set of dossiers. Dossiers reveal details about the characters of Endless Summer and they are very important to the story. The dossiers have a picture of the character, a "clearance" Epsilon, Omega, etc. These reports about the characters will be used in the final chapter of Book 1, be sure to collect them all!

If you choose to read the dossiers you will receive information about four of the characters: Sean, Grace, Raj, and Estela. Sean is the son of a famous quarterback, Grace has a criminal record, Raj has a very high IQ, and Estela is very dangerous. If you let the timer run out, you don't say anything and don't lose any relationship points. The correct 3 liquors are: You will also receive a Kitchen: Frying Pan Clue from Raj if you have a "like-status" with him.

If you do not have a "like-status" with Raj, and you drank with Craig and Zahra, you will receive Raj You have encountered your first "examination scene".

In this scene you can return to choices and find out clues on how to solve the current problem you are currently in. Remember to check everything! Watch for highlighted words or phrases. The recommended order is going from bottom-most option to top-most. That way you will get all important choices without going back.

If you choose Craig, he will rip the pipe from the wall. The other characters will try to pull it, but it will not budge. You will return to Choice 5. If you did not investigate with Sean in previous chapters, this will be your first set of folders. These are important to the story, so try to collect them all! If you chose to look at the locker, Jake will be at the locker if you invited him, otherwise Estela will be there.

They will open the locker and take out a gun although you don't see what it is immediately.

Jake will show you the gun no matter what your relationship status with him is, but Estela needs to like you for her to show you the gun. If you are shown the gun, you will get a clue Strange Gun. Go to the pod, it has opened. You will find a Strange Constellation Clue if you go with Sean.

IRIS, the blue hologram, will be there. They speak of survival chances upon a group of people, presumably the cast of Endless Summer. Rourke speaks about starting the "Endgame Protocol". He will ask IRIS to delete herself and she will, explaining why she cannot remember anything prior to meeting her. Rourke will then strip himself of his clothes.

IRIS has a "neutral-status" face like the other characters have. She is now part of the Endless Summer crew and certain choices may affect your relationship with her. If you choose the Adventurer Outfit, you will earn relationship points with Lila, Jake and Sean later in the chapter if you choose to go with Lila in the ship later. If you do not choose the outfit, you will lose points with Jake, Sean, and Lila if you choose to go with Lila in the ship later.

You have encountered another pair of dossiers! The dossiers are of three more of the Endless Summer cast: Craig, Michelle, and Quinn. Remember, these are very important to the story, so remember to collect them all! Kaitlyn Hartfield is a busy mom, a loving wife and a dedicated teacher.
