Steam is the real deal, Origin devaluates IP Steam is my way. Steam is also the ultimate abuse in gaming. The DRM is not the service or program the service itself uses. You lost me there. I compare EA to walmart made in cheap crap. Unlike Valve , which has an established reputation, and quality products even before the 12 year olds had parents throw money at whatever game they wanted. I recently lost every game I owned in my house becuase of the Moore, Oklahoma tornado. Getting anything helpful or even a response from customer service is a painful and fruitless enterprise. Same thing used to happen with Steam, you actually had to go online to your account to set it to offline mode. But outside of a game that requires an internet connection. Both Origin and Steam can now be run without any internet connection. Like Steam, it forces you to connect and log in prior to playing the game. This is my first Origin game. Origin forgets and deletes my logon info every time it does an update, even when I have the box checked to remember me.

And it seems to update every single time I log in. Twice already it refused to let me in forcing me to create a new account on the server. It retains my game purchased but loses my save games which is a pain in the ass. I eve tried to figure out a way to get around it but eventually gave up. That was a great deal! Sorry but your log in credentials have to do with a setting on your computer itself and has nothing to do with the service you use.

Fix your settings and your origin log in credentials also get remembered as well. Its all about the discounts. They offer tons of discounts on games on Steam and what gamer can be mad at someone that wants to give them a better deal? When Skyrim was first released, Steam was causing Skyrim to crash to Desktop at least 4 times within 45 min every hour it was played. The removal of Steam stopped this problem. The two games are Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3. I wish Battlefiels 3 had dedicated servers because I hate battlelog. They take hours to download because they are huge epic masterpieces that are as beautifully designed and thought out as any movie that is produced. The games of today are amazing works of freaking art…..
