Another amazing book from Esther!! These two were made for each other from the start. I loved how Esther showed the softer side of Ollie and Mae once they both realized that they were perfect for each other.
Esther was able to make me understand and really feel how scared in a way Mae was when it came I had the honor of receiving an ARC of Loving Mae. I really understood why Mae would push Ollie away at first, but in her heart she knew he was the one for her. Ollie was amazing as a character.
It was great how at first he was still the rude mean business man but once he saw Mae, he could not deny his true feelings towards her and wanted her all for himself. I loved this saying that Ollie said to Mae, "Every decision might end up being the wrong one. Even those that might seem solid in the future require some suffering in the process to get to that point in time. We all need to live, Mae. You can plan your life down to the minute, and yet living can throw in some hoops you need to jump through to enjoy it to the fullest Jan 05, Tracy Supple rated it it was amazing. Once Oliver and Mae give into what they both desperately want you get something that is really special sweet and full of passion. Loving Mae is book four in the Swamp Heads series, but can be read as a standalone. I have read devoured is more appropriate all of this authors MC reads, yet this was my first in this series. I, in no way, felt lost or like I was missing anything. This is a insta-love office romance filled with humor, sweetness, and amazing characters.
Mae is a woman with quarks and an awesome attitude. I totally want to become BFF's with her. Her job is to travel to different companies and help them through t Loving Mae is book four in the Swamp Heads series, but can be read as a standalone. Her job is to travel to different companies and help them through their struggles. She meets Ollie, in the most brilliant and hilarious way , and their sparks are immediate. The chemistry is electric, but in this sweet and refreshing way. They both know they are it for each other, they just need a bit of help seeing that they can have everything; love and work.
What makes this story, and this author amazing, is that it is written in away that makes the reader absorb every line. I laughed with these characters, swooned with Mae, got excited with Ollie, and was rooting for a place in their ever after best friend honors. I normally dislike internal dialogue, as I am an action person, but this story changed my mind.

Some of the best lines were from Mae or Ollie talking to themselves; their rambling thoughts made the story. I love the care that this author put into making her characters unique; classic cars, useful but odd collections, and a couple of rats named Walnut and Crackers.
I collect great lines from books and this story gave me quite a few to devour. My favorite review appropriate that is are: I highly recommend this story to new readers and devout followers alike. Each sibling will get their own instalove book. Hallie Mae is a very good at what she does. She brings companies back and gets them in the going again. Always jumping from one place to another, one job to another. She has a strict rule about not mixing business and pleasure.
The job she is doing next could change everything. There is just something about Oliver. Sure, is can be an ass sometimes but he also turns her on like no other. Hallie Mae faces more than just her attraction to Oliver in this book. Someone from her past comes back with the intention of ruining her reputation. I love this group of siblings and how they are always there for each other.

This book was a great read. Really the whole series is a great read. They are funny and short. Esther is a fantastic author and I always look forward to reading anything by here. Mae is want every girl wants to be then they grow up, strong ,independent, successful and a take charge kinda gal, they way she talks or should I say would think had me giggling through the book. The Author has a way of bringing all your emotions out..

It makes me want to go get a pet rat, yeah read this and find out what I'm talking about!!!! I guaranteed you will enjoy this book as much as I did!!! Now Mae's twin brothers Zeke and Earle I think I'll call them the pig pen brothers i cannot wait to see how Esther is going to write these two!!! Mae and Ollie was a fantastic read and I'm super excited to have read it, Esther is one of my favorite , I can't wait till she publishes a book Authors i always look forward to her stories!! Fiery, feisty and independent but underneath a little insecure and just wanting to have someone special to share her life with. I loved Mae's humour both spoken and thought and her sass. Oliver is very much the alpha male and boss, used to people doing as he says, until he meets Mae. Again I loved his humour. There is a small amount of angst just enough to keep it interesting, the story is well written and not very long so ideal for short reads.
This is the sort of story to pick up when you are Fiery, feisty and independent but underneath a little insecure and just wanting to have someone special to share her life with. This is the sort of story to pick up when you are having a bad day and need some light relief to lesson the bad stuff and lighten the mood.
It makes you chuckle while reading at least it did me and made me feel good. There is enough tension without it being overwhelming. A great read with the main thought I take away are all the chuckles I had while reading it, all their inner thoughts were funny. It certainly had the feel good factor. As with all of the Swamp Heads books, there is instant attraction, instant love and instant heat! This one is no exception and it is, for me, by far the best of the series. I absolutely loved this book, having read the first three, I knew who the lead male was and could not wait for the fiesty Hallie Mae to hand him is ass on a silver platter.
Their first meeting has Oliver seeing Hallie Mae This is a fast paced read which is why I wi As with all of the Swamp Heads books, there is instant attraction, instant love and instant heat! This is a fast paced read which is why I will not give anything more about this storyline, other than to say that it is well written and a thoroughly enjoyable read that will have you grinning, giggling, cringing there's a rat involved , getting angry and loving every single minute, every page of this book.
The characters are wonderful and quite likable, loveable actually, right down to Gloria, Oliver's PA. Hallie Mae is fiesty, smart, beautiful and a perfect fit for Oliver. Ollie, well he is hot as all get out, smart and is totally taken by the outrageous woman who has been hired to save his company.
