Many of the male frigate birds were puffing out their red neck pouches in an attempt to attract mates. It takes about 45 minutes for the pouch to inflate, and 30 minutes for it to deflate. Ryan started swimming in that direction passing the other snorkelers in our group. Then he spotted a penguin and darted off after it!
