Chris is a social entrepreneur and organisational development specialist, with a background in innovation strategy and creative problem solving. He has pioneered the unique approach of Ladder to the Moon in order to lead and support the change that he wanted to see in the services that his Grandmother used.

His expertise is in enabling individuals, teams and enterprises to get to high performance. He is an expert in facilitative leadership and what it takes to release collective genius. He has delivered over programs around the world including the renowned Masters in Creativity, Innovation and Leadership at Cass where Andy is responsible for two of the eight modules: Turning Ideas into Value. Fran met the Ladder team on her first day in social care as a commissioner for Kent County Council, since then she has been an adult social care inspector at CQC and loves bringing the insight from those roles to help our clients identify beneficial changes they can make in their organisations.

Jude is a qualified coach with 20 years experience in leadership and dementia service development. It is the one with a ladder suspended between the earth and the sky. I am giving everything away but a few pictures of my children and granddaughter and the clothes on my back. So much of this process of dismantling is like walking through my life backwards.

As I sort clothes I am asking myself what will work in my new environment, and each article of clothing tells a story of a time in my life, now past.

How does one unwind a very old clock? I suppose slowly and carefully. I have been advised by almost everyone in my life that this is in fact a terrible idea.

I have quit my job as a television news executive which offers a wage a little above middle class, and I have given away the last of my possessions. The day-to-day sleep state which allowed me to get up without question and pull on a suit, drive through the coffee stand and show up at the office to numbly grind out a new day, had a deadline with an alarm attached, and it finally went off.

In rather short succession my twenty-five year marriage ended, my daughter and granddaughter moved away, and my dad died.
