While people gathered on this evening for fun and dancing there was also another important reason for the DANK Fruhlingsfest and that is to serve as the main club fundraiser to support German educators each year in the Milwaukee area. DANK Haus Kinderschule Sommercamp for kids ages and is a fun way to stay connected with German language and culture while school is on break, or to get a first taste of it. After hearing the tales of German immigration to Chicago and seeing artifacts of their journey in the Lost German Chicago museum, visitors can end their day with a small taste of German culture as well.

While experimenting with new ways to practice verb conjugations with clients, I ran across a public domain, royaltyfree image of a six-petal flower that looked similar to the verb table, but was different enough that my clients found it to be more creative, more inviting to work with, nicer to look at, and more fun to use.
