You will be told that they can not look at any future appointments and that you have to call back at 8am the following day as that is when the appointment data is loaded into the system. There is a lack of consistency between the GPs and my most recent visit I was asked what I wanted rather than try and diagnose I don't know that is why I have come to see the GP!

I was made to feel like a time waster albeit I had just had major surgery with a few debilitating complications , if I knew there was a better option in my area I would most certainly move surgery. On a positive note the attached pharmacy is excellent. Unfortunately and reluctantly I have had to use the surgery a lot over the last 12 months and with the exception of 2 drs who actually listened and acted my experience has been just awful.

I should point out that this year is the first time I have felt the need to see drs repeatedly.

Something that should maybe have rung alarm bells when it came to listening to why I was there! I have a lot of praise for one particular doctor and also for the reception staff who over the last couple of years have been lovely. Receptionist has a difficult job but recognized the nature of my issue and was able to be flexible - while remaining professional and acting within boundaries - bottom line was: I've been with this practice for many years but I am now looking to move to another.

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment. The vast majority of GPs are part-timers working a couple of days a week meaning that huge delays are introduced into your care.
