The search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for detective Annie Redford, who is trying to cope with her first murder case. On the run accused of a terrible crime, Manchester Detective Marcus Farrow tries to prove his innocence while being hunted by his former friends and colleagues. This was a fun series with neat twists and engaging lead characters. Reece Shearsmith is well known for his offbeat comedic characters and after a sinister portrayal as a sociopath in The Widower it was good to see him offer another obtuse, but different, characterisation.
