This was such a crowd pleaser and simple to make. Full of guilt-free flavor. I made this yesterday and I must say I had my doubts because all the other recipes I had tried had turned out horrible. But this was great. It was spicier then I thought it would have been.

But super filling and really great tasting. My other half really enjoyed the spice. I have never made chili before, but this looked so good I had to try. Hi there, this looks great and I will be making it but I am concerned with the fact that the nutritional facts do not include sodium. I want to make this in my crock pot. How can I do this? I added more cayenne and chili powder as I love spice then I topped it with gr onions cheese Greek yogourt and a couple slices of avocado!! This chili was amazing- I did add 6 Serrano peppers, a can of chili beans and a can of tomatoes and green chilies- I got nothing but raves from everyone who tried it!

I started to meal prep again and this recipe is very neccessary! I made this about weeks ago and froze individual portions to grab for a quick lunch when working from home. Sadly, I just finished the final bowl. Holy heck that was some good turkey chili. Both husband and I enjoyed it. Hardly notice that it is turkey instead of beef or bison and the peppers are a nice addition to the traditional chili ingredients. What else can you sneak in to add more fiber? I will absolutely make this again—for football season. I made this last night for my husband and I for dinner and the flavors were great.

It makes about 8 cups fills up my entire large crock pot so depending on how many people you have it should be enough! I made this for the second time this month last night!
I added chicken stock I like my soupier , a orange bell pepper they came in a pack of 3 , a can of black beans had it in the pantry , paprika and some cumin because why not!
The Best Turkey Chili You’ll Ever Taste
Is it okay to use crushed tomatoes that have basil in them? Or will that mess up the flavor of the dish? My very suspicious-of-all-new-foods boyfriend also named it as best chili ever, and I was worried about how he would deal with ground turkey haha. I was skeptical of using turkey instead of beef for this recipe but it turned out delicious! I will definitely make this again.

Do you know how many SmartPoints this would be? This recipe sounds amazing, minus the tomato. I am not a fan of tomato. Do you have any suggestions to substitute the canned and diced tomato by chance? The tomato paste I can handle. This is a go to meal for my husband and I!!! One question, do you ever make extra and freeze it for later? If so what does that process look like? Do you simply put it in freezer bags in the freezer and just thaw the night before? Or is there a process to freeze it correctly? I like to divide my chili up into small portions in sealed containers or freezer bags and they should be good in the freezer for up to 4 months.
Is it supposed to be like that? Good taste but no liquid so is paste-y. I always use the juice from the tomatoes and the crushed tomatoes 28 oz large can also creates a liquid as well. Next time you make this feel free to use less tomato paste or omit it altogether if you like! This chili is the best chili EVER. I made this and he was blown away. All his guy friends ask me to make it before a football game.
We make two batches at a time so we can eat it all week. Share it at bridal showers every time a recipe card is given out. Cannot share this recipe enough! Just made it and was seriously impressed how well it came out. Will definitely be making this one a lot this winter.. This is the best chili ever! It is perfect with the turkey to make for a healthier meal and with plenty of leftovers it makes a perfect lunch for the next day! Instead of that stevia packet I have added fresh pineapple and just the juice that accumulated from slicing it. I skip the Stevia and add a square or two of extra-dark chocolate to add some smokiness.
I also add a second can of beans and a bit more tomatoes. Thanks for the recipe. My daughter is a nurse and works night shifts often. Whenever I fly in to visit her I fill up her freezer with her favorites. This chili is always on the top of her list. How long does this store in the fridge? Do you pre-make and freeze as well? If so, what things do you do to prep for freezing? I finally made this today and it really is the best turkey chilli I have tried so far! So much flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Even my picky brother enjoyed it.
I will be making it this weekend, only sans beans. I will add cumin, some dark chocolate, and some extra bell peppers. All my roommates loved it. And we adore it.
