Tentacles was a bit more violent than Cryptid Hunters, but leaves you wanting to read the third book, Chupacabra, which will be released October Like all of Roland Smith's books, the intense adventure sucks you in and you want to read more.
Tentacles (Cryptid Hunters, book 2) by Roland Smith
I would recommend this for kids 10 and up and for adults who would like a quick read that entertains you without draining your brain. No cussing, but does have action violence and some more mature themes like kidnapping, breaking the law, and child endangerment, but the author handles these very well.
This is not a syrupy sweet story where the "good guy" always wins, but the reality is that isn't real life. Roland Smith writes great adventure books!! Youth through adult readers will find each of them worth the time taken to settle down with a good book!! Of those I've read, this one is 2nd in a series of 3.
