This part of the history of Laguna Niguel is probably the most interesting of all the events that occurred. What political maneuvers occurred to allow Dana Point to grab the coastal portion of the original Laguna Niguel development? Why did the county supervisors, cognizant of the fact that Laguna Niguel was in the process of incorporating, allow Laguna Niguel to lose the coastal portion of its property?
I cannot recommend this book because of these major deficiencies. It is not worth the money. One person found this helpful. Truly a master visual story teller! Another fantastic book by Ted Wells! I was particularly impressed with the thoroughness of his research on the history of Laguna Niguel. Anyone with an interest in mid-century architecture and master-planned communities of the 20th century will love this book.
