Ticklish : New ways to help your child Learn, Love & Play

It should have had at least 4, but I was kind of disappointed. I was so excited to read an informative science-based book on touch in young children and babies. Instead, it was a really long magazine article with nothing I didn't already know. I really like Dr Jennifer's stuff, I just wish it gave me more compelling evidence for what she recommends.

It exists, she just isn't citing it. I was hoping to read more about touch and tickling, maybe a new Ash I feel really bad giving this only 3 stars. I was hoping to read more about touch and tickling, maybe a new Ashley Montagu-esque book. It is great for that.

Aug 20, Matt Cumming rated it really liked it. My wife and I found this book to be super-helpful bringing up our two kids. It's really easy to read which is a bonus for me since I struggle to stay focussed on the bigger, more "text-book" style stuff and had stacks of practical info for all the stages of development — I found that part the most useful to be able to understand all that side of things.
