The fisherman platter contained perch, shrimp, and scallops. The shrimp don't have much taste and the scallops are very good. Totally underwhelmed by the meal I had at this restaurant. The fries were clearly of the frozen variety and the fish perch consisted of 5 tiny pieces surrounded by an overcooked rubbery batter. The salad bar was OK considering how few selections were actually available. Service was on par with the meal. As someone who makes my own fish and chips on a fairly regular basis I was expecting something better from a restaurant that "specializes" in the meal.

I cant see giving this place a second chance. I wouldn't give them a second chance.

The place was pretty "plain-jane" but was clean and looked to be be well kept. I ordered the local pickerel dinner. My wife had a salad and sweet potato fries. I elected to have veggies instead of fries with my fish, and had access to their salad bar. The salad bar had minimal offerings, but was quite good. My fish was excellent and the veggies were tender-crisp. My wife's salad was good, and the fries were excellent.

The food arrived promptly and was nice and hot.

All in all the food was quite good and a good value forbthe price. It's the best food and the best service with the best price. I've never had a meal that was wanting and even when it's busy the ladies who serve take good care of their customers. In recent years I've tried the steak sandwich and bbq and it equals in quality to anything in more specialized restaurants. The crumbed brie with raspberry coulis is a lovely twist and as always, the fish is great.
