I lived in Argentina during the 70's, and it reminded me of some of the stuff that was going on down there at the time. I recently purchased the movie on DVD and saw it last night.

Jack Lemmon's and Sissy Spacek's performances were spot on. Jack Lemmon's was bordering on the supreme. He really is wonderful as the desperate and riddled father. It is also one of the saddest films you'll ever see and hearing Vangelis heartbreaking theme song, you can't help but to cry.
