This book is good for beginner-advanced beginner, but I would not reccomend this book for advanced piano players that want Vince's real stuff.

I'd describe this collection as low-to-high intermediate because of the appealing but challenging harmonic surprises here and there. The arranger should be praised, too, for not dumbing down the various syncopated passages. A fine, serviceable collection!

These songs are all arrangements and have been simplified and watered down from the original version. Because of that, the songs are in different keys than the original and sound very off when played. Not recommended for someone looking for the authentic Peanuts music. Not direct transcriptions from the recording, but not bad either. I am a piano teacher, and while I personally like direct transcriptions from the CD, because jazz is usually a trio situation, the end result are piano arrangements that while true to the recording, cannot hold up easily as solo pieces without other instrumentalists.

Rearrangements for piano solo can be cheesy and inaccurate.
