The Universe-ity: A Spiritual Education using the Law of Attraction
Samuels is quite right is arguing that the most important attribute of people that are successful is being positive and being receptive to the opportunities for success. Spending your time criticizing and finding fault with others is unproductive and time that you could have spent improving your prospects. It also makes enemies of people you may need in the future. Samuels ties that into the workings of the universe, which is different from other approaches, but invoking the power of positive thinking is certainly not new.
Having the energy and the desire to try new things is always of benefit throughout the entire human age range and experiences. Samuels gives an alphabetized list of things to do ranging from the standard making of a will to learning a new language to the more unlikely such as catching a foul ball at a baseball game. This is also an illustration of a standard recommendation for success, making a bucket list of things to do and setting out to do as many as possible.
Of course the list should always be longer than what you can possibly achieve so that you continue to strive. As self-help books go this one is average, both in content and effectiveness. The style of presentation is a bit different and that is a differentiator. However, I am not certain that the new wrapping around an old message is a more powerful convincer. Did you ever sit in a classroom and wonder what you were doing there? I have had that feeling on such occasions. I am pretty sure knowing that the state of Colorado has a vast dinosaur deposit was not going to get me that car I wanted either. Was I really learning the things I needed to know so that I could attract those things into my life? I Did you ever sit in a classroom and wonder what you were doing there? I heard about the laws of attraction several years ago and dabbled a bit. However, I did not know that much to thoroughly manifest the people.
Enters the book by Michael Samuels, The Universe-ity. In his follow up book from Just Ask The Universe, Michael Samuels takes you through a step by step of what to do and what not to do in the asking of things. He shows the reader through several examples that you do not necessarily need an education to get everything you want. Ironically, the book is designed in such a way that you start in "Homeroom" and end up with "Senior" year. There is homework and even a certificate of "diploma" in the back. It is tongue in cheek but proves the point that one must be careful and take gradual steps and asking for things correctly in the big thing we call the universe.
This is one education everyone from young to old can use! This book gets 4 stars from me. I received a copy of this book for my open and honest review. Having received a formal education, Samuels knows what it's like to conform to society's standards and complete over two decades worth of schooling. The author has designed a curriculum that is profound, yet satisfying. While the jury is still out on if I will use this fully.

I will have to say that prayer to my Heavenly Father has a much grand effect on me and I will continue doing that. But Michael Samuels, tries to take the theory that maybe education isn't enough in today's world and with that I would have to agree. This world is already in and headed down a very dangerous path.
Many of the authors profound statements and thoughts come from his intense study of the inner being. While I'm not really sure my thoughts line up with all of that he does warn you against worrying about life and the next big thingwhich is a pretty good idea! His lessons within the book are extremely beneficial as he takes you through step by step on what to do and what not to do in the way of asking of things. I was totally impressed on how the author broke everything down so simply that it actually made more sense than it ever did. I'm not a big fan of Self help books but i must say this one wasn't to bad. It was a quick easy read and I actually enjoyed it.

The key is forgiveness of ourselves and a new belief that we deserve the very best, providing our soil is fertile. I love this book and found it so wonderfully simple in it's message. Sometimes we can overcomplicate matters, but the message in this book is straight to the point. Read this along with his other book "Just ask the Universe.

This is a down to earth look at the law of attraction. It is very easy to read and implement. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their life. Positive and hopefully rewarding Karma is winging its way to me I'm sure! Believe and it will happen. Do what it says. It really gives you the tools to become who you want to become in this life.
After reading and enjoying Just Ask the universe so much I bought this book.
Its an easy read and makes you look at things from a different perspective. If your trying to make positive changes to your life I would recommend.
