The front jacket cover has a pictorial label of illustration of Dorothy, the Tin Man, Coawardly Lion and Scarecrow on it. The book itself is green, hardback, has the "The Road To Oz" title with the mule and Emerald City in the background as well as Ozma and Dorothy face to face on the rear boards.

The ownership page has original owners name and date Xmas The book is clean and tight inside with no writing or marks. The front cover has a bright pictorial with a bit of soiling along the spine edge. The spine is nice but the back cover shows some wear. The front page of the DJ see image and the two white side flaps are detached and laid into the book.
