I set him free. That was about three years ago and this year again I have been seeing many dragonflies, and very large ones, all around my home. I love all the tales that others have about their experiences. I, for one, will be more attuned to all my encounters with the creatures on our planet. I am experiencing the same thing, my grandfather passed away and the dragonflies are everywhere now. Just wanted to know if there was a spiritual meaning to them. I brought it in and put it on a paper towel on top of my dresser because it was a beautiful specimen. So you could imagine my surprise when I saw one of its legs move.

I thought surely after spending the night in a bowl of water that it would have been dead. When I came home for lunch, I saw that it climbed to the top of the paper towel. Both my daughter and I had to take pix! After the pix were taken, its wings started vibrating. I tried to pick it up to put it outside, and it flew off.

I then caught the dragonfly and released it outside, where it flew off. I think that is beautiful. It seemed ready to give up when you found him! You saved the little guy and he in turn gave you a message. I had one that landed on my knee, stayed there for about 10 minutes, flew off to catch a fly and came back to my knee. I felt honored to witness this.

Lately I have found one wing but today 2 wings were in my path. The dragonfly was definitely giving you a message. Things r going to get better and a good change is coming your way.. The day he passed it rained, it thundered and then the hospital lost power, lights went out and at that moment we saw many small baby dragonflies flying by the two windows of the hospital.
