My Guru in Disguise
As Dabic, the former psychiatrist worked for years in a clinic in Belgrade, the Serbian capital, practicing alternative medicine. Kojic and the man calling himself Dabic attended seminars together, and Kojic on occasion gave him a ride home. Karadzic was also running a Web site, which he called Human Quantum Energy. On it he was offering treatment for impotence and depression and hawking metal amulets as protection against radiation and other ills.

For most of his years in hiding, Karadzic was sustained by donations from wealthy Serbian businessmen and expats. He was generally thought to be hiding in the Serb-dominated areas of Bosnia, sometimes disguised as an Orthodox priest and moving between monasteries and other hide-outs. He repeatedly eluded peacekeeping troops who staged numerous raids in Serb enclaves in eastern Bosnia. Karadzic was so confident of his new identity he reportedly was about to embark on a vacation at a spa for 10 days when he was captured.
She said he did not speak with a Bosnian accent and seemed like a valuable member of the small alternative-medicine community here, not someone who could have been the force behind the notorious war crimes. Ratko Mladic, who also is being sought for trial in The Hague on genocide charges. To become a new person, officials said, he used false documents and false identities. However a book that passes the above criteria is very rare to be seen!

The book travels through the writer's reminiscence on her childhood, parents and the unique relationship she shared with her mother. Priya Mookerjee was born as the eldest daughter to her parents. Her parents hailed from one of the foremost families in India-the much-revered Tagore's. Ajit Mookerjee was very much interested in the Thantric arts in Indian tradition whereas his wife Sudha Mookerjee was a very lively person with inclination to music, painting, dance and other art forms.

The happy family starts to get its shake when Sudha Mookerjee develops a spiritual desire within her. The spiritual power grows violently inside her and she very soon becomes alienated from the traditional role of a wife and mother. Let us not try and make it more complicated. We got to be careful of many activities which may cause real big problem later, here ignorance can not be bliss. There are problems already where two faiths are practiced in a family.
However, we have to acknowledge the reality that our Constitution allows freedom of religion.

Outsiders now seem to take advantage of this constitutional leverage to pursue their evangelical missions. The current conditions in Bhutan are conducive for such a mission of brainwashing people.
Among the Hindus, there is great resentment towards people of higher castes by people of lower castes. Hence, a good number of low caste people cite conversion to Christianity as an open defiance to the domineering attitudes of high caste people. Among the Buddhists, there is a latent conflict between the two dominant sects, Kagyue and Nyingma. While religious and even the political figures are mired in such a conflict, great majority of the people simply do not understand the basics of Buddhism, let alone the fundamentals.
It almost appears that the practice of Buddhism is confined only to the monks and religious centers, such as monasteries, temples, shedras, and Zhung dratshang. Lay people practice Buddhism only through some rituals and episodic wangs. Most of the Buddhist texts are written in Tibetan language Choekey , which is hard to understand. Although some translations are made in English these days, many are rather happy to play games, gamble, and gossip than to read some English versions of Buddhist texts.
My Guru in Disguise : Priya Mookerjee :
Given such a fertile ground for conversion, I am not surprised if many Bhutanese people, both Hindus and Buddhists, have become Christians. Nevertheless, I have a great reason to fear that Christianity will eat its way through our prevailing tranquil environment, and create havoc and unrests in the near future. Such a perception has propelled many Christians in South Korea, which used to be a predominantly Buddhist country until recent times, to call for burning down of Buddhist temples see this and this.
While I agree in the principle of religious harmony and fusion of religions if possible, but there will always be several fundamentalists who would go to any length of violence to protect and propagate their beliefs. So, what should be the role of state to avoid bloodsheds that could potentially arise from religious conflicts in the near future? Should we keep on complacently teaching our youths that Drukpa Kagyued is our state religion, and pay no heed to the insidious conversion of our people to other faiths? Should we continue with our popular notion that Buddhism is fit only for monks and Hinduism is fit only for sadhus?
Should we limit our understanding of Buddhism only to rituals and prostrating before a statue or a lama? All I hear is that class X drop outs and class XII drop outs can get free money for continuing education if they agree to convert to Christianity. Who will not be tempted by such freebies. The weaknesses of the weak are targeted. Is is not possible to mind our own business and let innocent people enjoy practicing their own ancestors faith.

This time, according to some of his followers, the Guru Hajur is planning to meet His Majesty Druk Gyalpo so that he gets media coverage. God save our culture and traditions!!!!!!!!!!!!! When did bhutan become divided into nyingma and kagu pa? Y was its construction accepted in heart of capital when a construction of buddhist temple denied in paro? People say buddhist and hindu are same.. Nobody seems to be doing anything to stop birth of new religions in the country.
It is indeed sad to see our country changing for bad future. People say new religions are for money……and…wealth…. Intention of coming to Bhutan and teaching religion in disguise form are nothing more than planning to topple down our peaceful kingdom by creating society with different religions and believe. This will create disharmony in the society and bring internal conflict within the country which is very dangerous. We should know this and avoid such bad guys who acts as if the person is very kind, intellectual and generous.
This is attacking us in soft way but dangerous weapon. How can two different believers live together happily? It will really benefit you. We all know that people migrate from place to place since old stone age and so thus you can do.
