Except for some light smudging on the first few pages, signs of erasure on ffep and 2 flattened creases at the bottom of the front free endpaper, the inside is clean and has no foxing; pages lightly age-toned.
The covers are a blue-green cloth; the front has yellow and black decorations around the color plate, which is lightly rubbed and chipped around the edges and the front panel has very light soiling and several shallow indentations. The back cover is moderately soiled. The spine is darkened but quite readable , is chipped appx.
