Exploring the online video entertainment industry. Creative Data Sean Gelles. I started reading this book as soon as I bought it because I'm gearing up to launch a content marketing strategy for my business. And I basically haven't put it down - I'm finding many, many things to take notes on, especially regarding the current "flavor" of all the social media choices out there.
While this book is intended as an overview - and that's part of its appeal - I did find a few of the chapters to be a little thin. For example, the "make your headlines x better" chapter was just 1. It deserved some fleshing out, especially given the big promise of its own headline.
I thought this was a really insightful book and can help almost any business or individual create or improve their on-site content. With lots of real life examples of leading practitioners, this book is easy to follow and allows the reader even more avenues to learn. I feel I am pretty well versed in this subject, but Ramos showed me lots of new ways to improve the efforts of my own company.
The two most compelling sections for me were the discussion of sites understanding their customer "persona" and opportunities in LinkedIn I was unaware of. I highly recommend this book. One of the Most Important Concepts of the 21st Century. This is an easy read on one of the most important marketing subjects of our day.

Rick Ramos is a best selling author, and he provides some very valuable insight into an area that is fast becoming a much bigger slice of the Marketing pie. Don't miss out on dessert!
I highly recommend it for anyone venturing to do this on their own. A must if someone's going to hire someone else to do it. This will help you when discussing the options on how to market your service or product. Attracting new customers and making the sale is absolutely essential for any Internet business.
