They visited the zoo and returned to the city for dinner before heading to Luna Park for a night of rides which should have been the highlight of the holiday for the two young boys. When it was eventually time to leave the family had four ride tickets left and the boys had their choice of ride to spend them on: Jenny Poidevin lost her sons Damian and Craig and husband John in the fire.

Firefighters who raced to the scene were met with water supply problems as those left in the park were ushered out and stood watching helplessly outside as they waited for news on those inside.

Witnesses at the time spoke of people walking around dazed and confused, covered head to toe in soot, as emergency services battled behind them. When you pull the lever on this platform, you will hear bells tolling. There are four of them actually, making this a tough encounter. The gargoyles take additional damage from Lightning and Magic , but don't seem to be particularly vulnerable to either.

Other elements are unconfirmed. This fight can be tough no matter who you are, as you will be facing many targets at once. When you first enter the fight, you will have about 10 seconds alone with the first gargoyle. During this time you should go all out on him, and try to either outright kill him, or do a serious amount of damage.

Once the other gargoyle shows up, you need to take a very defensive stance. Keep your sheild up and watch your stamina. Try to keep them all on screen by cirling widely around them and switching your target lock.

Although you can get a hit on any gargoyle who has just finished an attack, you will need to pick your attacks very carefully. Wait untill a gargoyle becomes separated enough from the others so that you can get a few jabs in before retreating. At all times, try to position the Gargoyle with the lowest health nearer to you than the others. Because of this you should focus on killing off one gargoyle at a time. If you can get to the side or behind a Gargoyle that is using it's flame breath attack, this will cause him to stand still and allow the player to run up and hit them once or twice.

Another opportunity is presented when a Gargoyle fly's into the air and either come down with a scooping attack or leaps and lands next to you. As the Gargoyle lands it will usually be a fair enough distance from the others to get in a few strikes. Sometimes when they fly up, they uneash their fire breath down on you instead. Because there are so many gargoyles, there will be times where they get caught on each other. When this happens, you will usually only have one gargoyle in your face as the other two get stuck behind him.
