He provides personal examples as well as examples from other scholars. I enjoyed it immensely. Will use it in my Sunday school class. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. This book has been very helpful for our Sunday School study of the parables. Both volumes 1 and 2 give wonderful insights to the Parables from angles that are relevant and thought provoking.

The author provides some good material for further investigation and discussion about parables. Wonderful for Adult Sunday School Class! Kalas' books are wonderful.
