The central location was fantastic with beautiful roof top views from our window. It was a short easy walk to any of the main tourist attractions and culinary delights of Bologna. We would love to return to Bologna and when we do we will definitely stay with Marina again.

The room was cheap, spacious, very clean and well located. She was kind and offered us a typical breakfast. The only disadvantage is that she only speaks Italian but this is not a big problem because somehow you can communicate with her. Great for a short stay for a couple. It is very clean and has a good feeling and vibes. We really enjoyed our stay in Laura's flat. Is is really nicely decorated and is spacious and modern. It is so close to the city centre and a wonderful place to base yourself for your stay in Bologna.

We had no problem finding the apartment and it was just as we expected with ideal location, comfortable rooms and perfect for our short stay. We would recommend it to anyone for visiting Bologna. Laura's apartment is really easy to get to from the train station and we had a very easy check in. The apartment is very neat, clean, well designed and well stocked. It's about a minute walk to practically everything in Bologna, which is super handy. The only negative was that the apartment was noisy!

I'm not sure if it was because we were there on the weekend, but every night people would yell on the streets. The family upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture around all night. The bed also squeaked a lot and would wake us up in the night. The second night I wore earplugs and it helped a lot. I loved the apartment, which was very clean and bright, exactly like the pictures. The location was perfect for what I was there to do, but also very convenient to the square and other areas of Bologna as well. We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's place.

It's a great location, close to lots of good bars, restaurants and coffee shops and a big supermarket. We only needed to use public transport once when going to San Luca, a bit further out of the city. The kitchen was small but perfectly sufficient for a few of our meals- we loved the window off the kitchen into the internal courtyard! We got quite warm at night, but that's because we visited Bologna in mid August! There is aircon and a fan in the flat which helps with the warmer nights.

We would recommend this apartment! Overall great place aside from check-in. Waited over an hour for someone to arrive with keys. Place had yet to be cleaned, though a housekeeper eventually showed up some time after gaining entry into the apt. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Unfortunately communication with Marina wasn't good; I messaged her before our arrival to set a check in time and never heard back.

When we showed up she wasn't at the apartment and we had to call her thank goodness my boyfriend had bought an international phone plan and then wait about 15 mins for her to come over and let us in. Her english was enough to convey house rules but not enough for us to understand why she wasn't there. Once we got past check in we enjoyed our stay here, and would still recommend it with the caveat that you communicate early and persistently with Marina.

There are some great places to eat right around the corner as well. However, the rooms are great. We would stay here again if we come back. Great location right in the city center. The apartment was clean and had everything you need and the host is very helpful with the check in and information.

Spacious and very clean and beautiful room in the wonderful old palace near two towers! Great view from the window. Marina met us and show everything, gave us a map. Don't forget that you can't use the kitchen. The only minus - water pressure and temperature in the shower is poorly regulated. Marina's apartment was beautiful and located within yards of the historical centre of Bologna. The apartment was clean and tidy and Marina was a lovely host.

Excellent situated and very quiet appartement, best choice to reach all places in the historic center in less than 15min by walking. We arrived Bologna during rush hour so the person greeting us understandably ran a little late. The power in the apt wasn't working when we arrived, but was very quickly fixed when we let Alfredo know.

The flat was lovely and neat, reflecting the host's great taste. Located on a quiet street but to many restaurants. Alfredo was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Our train from Verona was severely delayed due to a strike, making us about 7 hours later than planned, and Alfredo stayed in constant contact and arranged everything around us.

We were greeted by the lovely Stefania, who let us in and showed us around. The flat was modern and stylish. Small but practically arranged and thought out. The layout of the flat was great, exactly what we needed. We loved the clean towels, and all the added extras in the cupboards. Unfortunately we arrived at night and were leaving the following morning, so didn't see much of the neighbourhood but found a delicious dinner just five minutes walk away, despite it being a Sunday. We only wish we'd had more time to explore Bologna, but if we were to come back, we'd happily stay in Alfredo's apartment once again.

It is a small but very functional apartment. Great location, 10 minutes walk from the mail square of the old town. It is a lovely, clean, and centrally located apartment. Beds are super comfy!! The hosts are so welcoming and friendly as anybody else in Bologna! The room is facing the main road so you could hear some noise but it was not a big deal for us; there are also few cafes down the road with delicious pastries and coffee, so breakfast can be different every morning. I would definitely stay again here! Maria's room is comfortable, clean and cozy. Very near to the city centre as well. Our stay at Maria Teresa's place was very nice. She and her daughter were very helpfull.

Great host, really recommend if you want to be in the heart of Bologna and also Taxi from the airport to the place costs like 20euro. We loved the apartment, very stylish! The house is very nice, lots of plants and nice decorations. It's in a very lively area, with restaurants and bars closeby and all of the city center within walking distance. The room is quite spacious, more than enough room for two. We were in Bologna during a heatwave 38 degrees , so the room got quite hot, but Gilad supplied us with two fans which made the heat more or less bearable.

I would recommend this room to anyone visiting Bologna. The location was perfect. It was central to everything. The room is exactly as pictured. You also have a decent sized living room area to relax in. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. We however did not cook much because Gilad recommended a lot of places we decided we wanted to try.

Upon arrival he gave us a map and sat with us to get to know us and recommend places to go based on our interests Gilad and his friends also invited us to eat with them on our first night as they had made a family like dinner, which was just really nice and super welcoming. He even provided slippers for us to be more comfortable. Overall, the experience was great and we would highly recommend staying here. All main attractions are within a walking distance and the house is in the heart of the students' nightlife with nice pubs and restaurants. After touring the house he sat down with us to mark a map of his favorite places around the city and answered all of questions. Gilad could not have been a better host--he explained to us everything that we needed to know to feel comfortable in a new city. Great people and environment inside the house. Not to mention the location itself! Room itself was excellent, very clean and had everything we needed. Location wasn't great and just a little far out of the centre of Bologna. Edoardo was very helpful in making sure I found the place especially after I Hidden by Airbnb d the wrong address and making sure I had everything I needed, including internet access and a map. The apartment is brand new and very clean. The location is great, very close to the old city, the university, and where my conference was.

The building can be very hot in summer and there is no air conditioning; opening the windows helps but then the noise from the street is very loud. We had a brilliant stay at Edoardo's apartment! It's a 15 minute walk into the centre of Bologna so perfectly located and a nice, comfortable room with a coffee machine, kettle and wifi.

There w a bit of miscommunication when we arrived which meant we had to wait a while before being able to check in, but apart from that it was plain sailing. Edoardo was kind enough to let us store milk in the fridge and check out late, which was really decent of him. Would recommend this apartment for sure!

The only minuses, I would say, were 1. The fact that I didn't know we rented a room in a big apartment and we didnt have quite the privacy we were expecting having other guests in the room next to us and 2.

The vacuum cleaner and the music were turned on at 8: I recommend this place for young people only. Maurizio and his wife are just lovely. Even though we speak different languages the communication was not an issue. The bnb is a nice little flat, super clean and smelling freshly cleaned. It was very organized and very well equipped, it made us feel like home. The location is superb, there are restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner within 2 minutes walk. All the attracations are not more than 10 minutes away. We enjoyed every minute in Bologna. Centrally located, beautiful, clean and comfortable.

The owner greeted us warmly and gave us tips and ideas for our weekend in the city. The air conditioning was a blessing! The only thing I would recommend improving was the laundry machine that wasn't working. I highly recommend this airbnb, we loved it! My parents stayed at Maurizio's place for one night and they were very enthousiastic. The location is absolutely perfect and Maurizio and his wife are very nice people. This apartment is just perfect! It has everything and looks just like the photos - so cute! And close to everything!! Maurizio was the nicest and gave us great tips.

This apartment is perfect for couples. I highly recommend this place!! The apartment is a perfect location for the historic center of Bologna, and also close to great eating and shopping. Mauricio and Lilia have added nice touches for travelers and are very thoughtful hosts. Maybe the cleanest apartment we had in 3 weeks of travel. Big house, cozy, all amenities I needed and moreover the biggest feast at breakfast with delicious homemade cakes and other good staff. The bathroom is huge and clean and although small, my single room has everything I need. Warm place with heating on when it needed. The only flaw was the noise of the traffic through the window, but I used earplugs, so problem solved. Staff kind and very respectful. Luana is a very nice person, always ready to help. Her reception was pleasant and I have received all necessary information for the use of accommodation and for the visit of the city. The appartment is well situated, only 15 minutes walking distance to the historical centre.

The room is small but pleasant as shown in the pictures. The breakfast is served in a large and confortable dining room. Luana is even cooking herself delicious cakes for the breakfast. Flerdico did a fine job as honest, and the bedroom is absolutely perfect for an tourist, who want to visit the centre area. It is absolutely amazing to live there, with a nice honester. But above all, Federico does a great job at taking care of his guests and making them feel at home.

Very clean and nice apartment. Francesco Maria's place is in a beautiful quiet part of the old town. Everything is sparkling clean and the bed is very comfortable. The walk from the station to his place takes you through a lot of the historical parts of Bologna and I would definitely recommend doing it, though it took me a lot longer than 20 minutes lugging a suitcase behind me, hot, sweaty and tired!

I was not so lucky as to meet the charming friendly host of other reviews, but perhaps I was not as charming and friendly as I could have been either, had I been less tired. She could not have been more friendly and welcoming, from giving airport transfer advice to a lovely care package in the kitchen and tips on where to find the best pasta. We wholeheartedly recommend staying in this gorgeous flat. Donata's beautiful apartment is spotless and well equipped. She even leaves you a box of tea and goodies for breakfast. Donata is such a helpful host, and booked lots of taxis for us. This place comes highly recommended - we wished we'd had longer to spend there. We had a really great stay at Gianfranco's. He has been really attentionate, giving us a ride whenever possible, taking time to tell us about the city and thing to do.

We had the opportunity to discover the city by going through a free photo exhibition taking place in many nice buildings from the city. This was awesome, thank you Gianfranco for the tip: It was a pleasure staying at Gians flat. We didn't meet him but he made sure that we were in really good hands.

The room in his flat was big and really clean. The bed was so comfortable and there was space for the luggage. He also provided us with breakfast and gave us tips where to go. The flat is a little outside but you can reach it really good by bus min from bologna centrale I would recommend Gian highly. Gianfranco is the best host we have ever met. Every morning prepared phantastic breakfast for us. He gave us to railway station and to the airport to say goodbye. The time was short, only 4 nights, but we have lucky and happy to known him. Gianfranco was an excellent host who provided clear indications about how to get to his house, as well as a light breakfast in the morning. There were also many guidebooks on Bologna and Italy available. Gianfranco was a fantastic host.

He provided us with detailed instructions on how to find the place from the main train station which was great. It is a bit of a walk, around 20 to 25 minutes from city center but is serviced with public transit so you can avoid some of that walk if you wanted. Room was huge and clean with comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped to make some good meals and the breakfast that is provided was a nice touch.

Bathroom was well was clean and spacious as well. Would definitely recommend if you find yourself in Bologna. La Casetta is wonderful The appartment is beautifully decorated, very central, quiet, nice breakfast with fresh strawberries and blueberries. I will definetely come back I absolutely loved staying at La Casetta! This should be everyone's number 1 choice when visiting Bologna. It's right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the sights, supermarket and restaurants. Giulia is a sweetheart and has really made the space warm and comfortable.

I can't wait to come back and stay again! Clean, comfortable, Giulia was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and attractions. Belissimo and so very kind and comforting I am staying again the day before I leave Italia for home. So much care put into every detail. The only thing missing is that although the listing says breakfast is "served", actually it is a cold breakfast you need to prepare yourself. However, Giulia was kind enough to provide something vegan especially for me, so I appreciate that. The art on the walls is amazing and it is a perfect quiet place to relax in the city.

This was a beautiful space and our host was kind and attentive. Exactly as advertised, would love to return soon! Superb location as long as you can negotiate 4 flights of stairs. The flat is in a seventeenth-century building from where you can see Parco Verde. In a few minutes you can reach the main square of the city Piazza Maggiore and many other monuments and attractions.
