Perfect for hot summer days because of the cool north facing balcony. Minus for being noisy because of the thin walls in the building, and minus because it was no internett. We really enjoyed our stay in Montan. The apartment was well equipped and the hosts friend David who showed us around was very helpful. We were told this was being installed so if WiFi is important for your stay, we suggest checking before booking. This inaccuracy was disappointing. We had a very nice stay in Montan. We cooked in the kitchen and it was stocked with kitchen supplies to create some very nice meals.

The butcher and small grocery store in town are nice, and the bakery right under the apartment is excellent. Especially loved the tomato empanadas and the ham and cheese croissants. The apartment was clean, modern and spacious. Water pressure in the shower was great! About 10 minute drive to Montanejos where we had a wonderful time swimming in the river. The place has a great location and a picturesque view of the village and its natural surroundings. Downstairs, right next to the door, there is a small, cute bakery with great "pan de pueblo" and delicious baked goods.

Juan and David are very friendly and always available and they inform you about the different things you can do there. The place is clean and stylish and we loved the glass bottle lamps overhanging the kitchen "barra". Also they provide you with lots of wood for the chimney and there are three more heaters in the house.

Not to mention, there are a good amount cozy comforters. Finally, the people there are super friendly and Montanejos is only 10' away. Lovely appartment in a sweet little village. The kitchen is good equipt for relaxed cooking and also the rest of the appartement is very nice an modern furnished. The backery just outside the door has just the best almond cookies and chocolate croissants: Montanejos is very close by and perfect for a bit of swimming and hiking: All communication with Juan was first class and we arrived as arranged to find him waiting for us.

The apartment is wonderful and just as it appears in the photographs. It is well stocked with everything you would need, very clean and Juan had made sure the fan had cooled it nicely. As everyone has said the bakery next door is out of this world with lovely morning pastries, lunch time treats and the most delicious salted flatbreads for dinner. While you are staying in Montan do take a trip down the road to Montanejos to experience the magical Fuente de los Banos. Thank you Juan - will be back. We had a such a wonderful stay. It was such a gorgeous location in the middle of the mountains.

There are incredible walks in the local area with absolutely stunning views. Lots of amazing climbs in the local village Montanejos. The property was really lovely, much bigger than it looks in the photos. We had some wonderful fires in the wood burners in the evenings. Beds were really comfortable. We had a lovely time. Las campanas de la iglesia suenan en todas las horas de la noche y al estar justo al lado, quieras o no te despiertan. La realidad es totalmente fiel a las fotos, un sitio muy acogedor, decorado con mucho gusto y con unas vistas preciosas. Pueblo ruidoso por perros y fiestas. Un espai petit ben aprofitat, amb una terrassa impressionant, fet amb gust.

Lovely house and great neighbourhood. We were heading to the hot springs in Montanejos and this was a great place to stay. In the morning we got suprised with a lovely breakfast from Leo. Leo is such a lovely person, very attentive. In the evening she even made the terrace really cosy with candles and stuff. Lovely family, also 2 dogs and 1 cat. This was our best stay around Valencia.

We had a fantastic stay at Leo's place. Everything was beautiful, the house has a lot of character and Leo is a nice and attentive person. Hemos pasado un fin de semana de relax total. Todo muy limpio, muy ordenado y decorado con mucho gusto. Para repetir sin duda. Muchas gracias por todo! El mejor lugar que podiamos encontrar ,quedamos muy contentos de la hospitalidad y sencillez de Leo y familia ,nos sentimos en familia y como si estuvieramos en nuestra propia casa. La cocina de Leo espectacular con productos naturales de la huerta y ad emas disfrutando de los magnificos paisajes que se ven desde la terraza.

Os lo aconsejo siegamente! El alojamiento de Leo nos ha resultado muy comodo como base para realizar excursiones en la zona. Leo y su familia son muy agradables y amables. Se agradece que admitan perros. Las camas son un poco blandas-algunas- pero eso ya va a gustos Susana's place was one of the nicest we have stayed at in Spain. The place was spacious, very clean, the wifi and SAT TV were excellent, and the jetted tub was a real treat.

Be sure and book this place if visiting nearby Montanejos. Great vibes and incredibly beautiful place. Para vivir una experiencia muy particular. La casa de Maria Raquel y Francisco ofrece todo tipo de comodidades y un emplazamiento privilegiado. La casa y su decoracion con todos los detalles son preciosas y tiene mucho encanto. Raquel y Francisco nos hicieron sentir como en casa en todo momento y nos aconsejaron de sitios para comer y visitar. Los desayunos que prepara Francisco son completos y muy buenos. Lo mejor para nosotros de Tasta ha sido las inmejorables vistas y el entorno en general, la piscina natural y el domo, un espacio muy chulo donde hemos podido practicar yoga y meditar sin molestias y con vistas espectaculares.

Nos ha encantado todo la verdad. Sitio espectacular, Raquel y Francisco unos grandes anfitriones, volveremos en breve para volver a desconectar.

Los anfitriones Raquel y Francisco son encantadores. We had a lovely serene nights accomodation here! Raquel showed us through the property and all its lovely quirky parts and history! Fransisco ran to our car when we arrived back from dinner to make sure we could find our way. He also cooked us an amazing breakfast! Their hospitality is fantastic and if you are looking for a off the track, different stay we would recommend it!!

Both Maria Raquel and Fransisco where great hosts and they have an amazing place a little outside Montanejos! We were visiting a music festival in the city and they were kind enough to drive us into the village several times. They were incredibly helpful and the place is truly one of a kind. Next time, we will make sure to have more time to explore the nature around Montanejos! Muchas gracias y hasta pronto!

If you're looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful mountain village this is the place to stay. A beautiful rural house with great views, amazing food and great hospitality! Leo is a great chef and we would recommend to have diner at het place. The house is just 10minutes drive to the beautiful hot springs in montanejros.

The house is incredibly well-cared for. The rivers near by are wonderful. We did not do too much hiking but the house was all we needed to feel rested and happy. Javier was always available via cellular for instant communication, he was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. His AIrbnb is beyond charming, the town is great and the area is beautiful for hiking, nature lovers, and small town lost times vibes. Definitely recommend to romantic nature enthusiasts who appreciate local flavor.

We loved seeing parts of the wall of the old castillo in the house. Very kind host and easy communication. Its a cozy place with amazing views and awesone and friendly hosts. The natural pools are just 10 mins away and are quite unique and breathtaking. The apartment was very nice and atmospheric. Javier and his wife Margarita made our stay realy comfortable and took care for us all the time.

We appreciated the warmhearted hospitality very much - especially the invitation for the Newyear's party was a very friendly gesture - thank you so much! Our hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Javier also made himself available to help via mobile, which we used. The property is of a very high standard. The best we have stayed at!

The tiny town feels like a big family. He was a great host and gave us great tips to go hiking and was very helpful. Next time we will stay longer and explore more of Montan and the hiking tracks: It was perfect for us! The slow rhythm of the life in the town and the warmheartedness of the people are contagious and will be missed as soon as you step out of this little bubble. Communication with Javier was excellent, there were plenty of recommendations around for little hiking excursions and our bedroom was absolutely fantastic - with a comfy mattress and perfect bedding.

We actually liked the fact that in town you can't find everything you would usually find in a supermarket.

That limits your choice for meals and shopping will only take a few minutes. Definitely have some tapas at the bar and get some dark saussages at the butcher. Oh - and lazos con xocholate were amazing too! Would come back there any time. I would not be able to give any bad comment for Joan or his apartment. The house is beautifully located in the mountains and on the edge of an old village, which makes it a very special place to stay and relax. The building is very old but recently renovated and includes everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The area is very quiet with the exception of some neighbouring dogs which tend to start barking as soon as someone approaches. We came to the area to go climbing in Montanejos. Although Montanejos is about 25 minutes driving from the village, it's worth the effort since Montanejos can become very crowded over the weekends. Beautiful location, quintessentially Spanish and lovely people. This lovely place is the embodiment of escapism and a must for those seeking the great outdoors.

With breath taking scenery and a roaring fire what more could you want? Aranzazu's little house is really lovely and perfect for a relaxed stay in nature. Everything was good and very uncomplicated. It is an old house that has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is very comfortable with good internet, beautifully decorated rooms and feels very homely. Beatriz was incredibly helpful and friendly. It's an adventure to get there but Beatriz met us in the middle of the village and led the way.
