Just like this verse, that apart from the outrageous claim that this baby conceived outside of marriage, is the Son of God, there is the extraordinary faith of two ordinary people. Mary is a virgin and meekly, accepts her responsibility to bear and nurture the Savior. Mary and Joseph were uniquely equipped for their roles. We should not be afraid of facing any difficulties, trials and sacrifices, for He will provide and help us even to an impossible situation. And Jesus becomes our connection — he is our connection to God and to one another.
How did Christ, the son become our connection? Through his words and teaching that we learned about God. We grew from him, we are nourished by him, we are, in a way part of him. He is our way, the one sure way to be connected to God. It is good to always give time to communicate with him through our prayers. On the other hand, Jesus is our connection to one another.
We became brothers and sisters through him. We are all connected to each other because we have Christ who is keeping us united, the only one, the only reason. But we cannot create this connection without seeking first for His name and what better way there is to call God but through prayers. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Burdens, expectations to disappointments, regrets to mistakes. How people can be so naive at times. We sometimes never learn from our own mistakes, we tend to follow the universe desires.
