No, they were terribly mistaken and they had passed right pass the sign "Eruv stops here" to visit the Farm. It seems some got the idea. However, this did not take away all of the other shaylos in eruvim that they chose to ignore: Sad day when they decided to build this eruv. Great book for the masses and better for people learning eruvin. Before I ordered, I thought that there may be things that were controversial but the content is all true and sourced. This is, without a doubt, the best single halakhic book written about eruvin in English. Rabbi Bechofer goes through all of the halachot relevant to a modern eruv in a modern area.
He walks the reader through the sources and development of the laws, and the book includes a lot of pictures and diagrams.
Education And Resources
If you want to understand the rather complex issues surrounding eruvin, this is the book for you. This book is an excellent mix of both practical halacha and the sources and development of that halacha. One person found this helpful.
